Normally, I like most McFarlane DC figures. I don't always buy them, but I like the look of them. This one is a total waste of plastic as far as I'm concerned. It's a character from a highly forgettable storyline in DC's never ending chaos crossover schemes to entice the comics' buying public to purchase more of their silliness. Sorry Todd, this one is a "no go" for me.

This one looks like a Mr. Freeze body with a new head. Not much going for it as far as I'm concerned. The face is ridiculous. These one off "monsters" are getting kind of old. Where's Poison Ivy, regular Scarecrow, regular Two-Face, regular Riddler, Ventriloquist w/ Scarface, Black Mask, and Punchline just to name a few Batman villains we've yet to see? Who wouldn't get a kick out of a Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum two-pack?

I'm loving both of these mega-figs!!! I have both of them from Mattel but will buy these also. By the way the Justice Buster is not the same as the Rookie armor that Jim Gordon wore when he stood in for Batman. It's been leaked that we are getting Gordon Batman so I hope that means that we'll be getting the Rookie armor also. The Justice Buster is what Batman built to fight the rest of the Justice League and it will look great in my Batcave display with the Batwing, Batomobile, Batraptor, Batcycles and T-Rex. I think that Justice Buster was inspired by the Marvel Mandroid armor.

On the distant planet Qward many years ago, a being named Mobius built a sophisticated device called the Mobius Chair. Mobius attempted to view the source of the Anti-Matter Universe, hoping to discover what sparked its creation. What he found was the Anti-Life Equation, an infamous truth the tyrant Darkseid had spent a lifetime trying to locate. The equation merged with Mobius, transforming him into the immensely powerful Anti-Monitor. The Anti-Monitor became a destroyer, traveling from one universe to the next, consuming worlds. He caused the Crisis on Infinite Earths, destroying the Multiverse, an event only a few recall.

Anti-Monitor looks like he's swimming in that box.  I feel like he should be taller.  Either way I still have my Mattel one and it gets the job done, so I don't think I need this.  Justice Buster looks alright.

Cute that McFarlane's still including those regular figure stands with his "Mega" figures. If you're not going to include a larger stand with your larger figures, Todd, why include a stand at all?

I've only recently started unboxing some of the stuff in my collection (which is just an insane, floor-to-ceiling hoarder-esque room of boxes) and opened my first MegaFig (Kalibak) the other night.  I had a good long laugh at the pointlessness of the stand that was essentially the same size as his foot anyway.  Good figure though.  Fits in great with my Mythic Legions as an Ogre-type thing until I crack open a Superman to stack him up against.  About the only negative thing I can say is that getting the weapon in his hand was a bit of a pain.

Anti-Monitor looks great, Justice Buster is pretty cool as well, I wouldn't get these but I do appreciate them. Would be rad to see McFarlane do a Trigon, Desparo & Chemo next as Deluxes.

I pre-ordered this bundle from McF store although the bundle discount basically just offsets the shipping cost. With the 10% coupon it ended up being $74 after shipping & taxes, which was still cheaper than BBTS or EE would have been. Other than the shipping cost the other crappy part about ordering from McF is that they charge upfront for pre-orders now. So I had to pay upfront for something I won't see for 2 months.

I still have the Mattel versions of both these figures but decided to pick these up too. I laughed at the comments about the stands. I have 14 DC Megafigs from McFarlane but have never opened any of them yet. I have however opened a couple of his Witcher Frost Giant megafigs though - but they didn't need stands to stand up solidly. I have them in my Marvel display. So far I've kept the majority of my McFarlane DC Multiverse figures unopened. My DC display is mostly still Mattel stuff with some sporadic DCD and McF mixed in. Even a few years in McF still just hasn't put out a broad enough character selection to make me swap out all those years of Mattel world building quite yet.

Why does the Justice Buster fig sculpt/colors not match the artwork on the card?  Look closely. Head sculpt is different, and the colors are also (though not drastically).  It seems like no matter what character it is, McFarlane simply has to do something - sometimes major things - that explicitly depart from the source material with no apparent reason why.

In a nutshell: Todd is gonna Todd. He always will.
