Neca Apollo Creed Rocky 2 Custom Figure

I’m planning on doing a repaint of a duplicate Neca Apollo Creed figure, from the first fight. What is the best paint to use? I’ll be doing the trunks Red, with a white strip as well as the socks. I’ll be painting over the blue on the trunks and socks. So the colors I’ll need are

white 

and perhaps brown for touch up on the body.
