Hasbro Pulse Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Fanstream Coverage

Hasbro today is holding another live-stream this time with Dungeons And Dragons Brand Team member Emily Bader. Look for the mainstream products revealed today to go up for pre-order later today at 1pm ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.
 

 

They are showing the trailer for the movie which opens in theaters this weekend.

Now going over some games like D&D Escape Game.

Now showing a clip for their Yawning Portal game from Avalon Hill. Final game is their D&D Monopoly.

Now moving on to toys.

Going over their Dicelings figures. The D20 Dice that transform into monsters. Blue Beholder, Movie Displacer Beast and White Dragon in wave 2.

Wave 3 will include - Movie Owlbear, Green Dragon, Translucent Displacer Beast and Mimic. These go up for pre-order at 1pm ET everywhere.

Golden Archive 6" Doric and Xenk. These will be going up for pre-order at a later time.

Golden Archive Xanathar Beholder and Displacer Beast will be released as a Hasbro Pulse exlcusives todat at 1pm ET. The Displacer Beast has bendy tentacles that is about 12" long. The Lore Owlbear will be a Gamestop exclusive.

The Xanathar Beholder has a moving eye and articulated arms. It also comes with Sylgar the fish.

Hasbro's Emily Bader during a special Dungeons and Dragons live-stream revealed three new Dungeons And Dragons Golden Archives 6" scale figures ahead of tomorrow's (3/29) Hasbro Pulse live-stream. The three figures announced today included Xanathar, lore inspired Owlbear and a Displacer Beast from the Honor Among Thieves movie. The Xanathar and Displacer Beast will be released as a Hasbro Pulse exlcusives and the Owlbear will be a Gamestop exclusive with limited quantities going up at Pulse. These will be up for pre-order tomorrow at 1pm ET.

There should be more mainline reveals coming tomorrow during the Hasbro live-stream that will also be going up for pre-order so stay-tuned for those details.

I never would have thought in my many, many years of being a Dungeons and Dragons fan/player/DM, that I would witness action figure of monsters being made (again). I pray to Lloth or whatever deities may listen that we get many, many more. My wantlist is endless, but a Gelatinous Cube was something I never expected and now I'm stunned by the beholder. If I had to pick one or two hopeful future releases, It would be a Mindflayer (easy to do) and an Umber Hulk (and intellect devourers, rust monsters, and a chest mimic as smaller 'accessory' monsters.

Now we're talking. The displacer beast looks good. The owlbear sculpt looks kind of weak (but I might just need to see it in person to appreciate the detail) and the cube was mediocre, but the details on the beast and Xanathar seem to be crisper and more defined. I hope, and feel it's pretty likely, that we get a mimic since it featured prominently in the trailers for the movie, and hopefully the sculpt is good.

I gotta say, I'm surprised about the $50 price on the beholder. I was expecting $70-80. Has my value gauge been warped by so many price hikes? Did the mind games work on me? $40 for the Displacer Beast too...not bad at all to me

I wonder if you could pop those weird tentacle things off of the leopard and use King in Black Venom' s wings to make a cool 6 legged flying leopard monster.
