Something For MOTU Coming On Monday (3/20)

Mattel has announced something special is coming for Masters of the Universe fans on Monday 3/20. No idea what it will be, however our sponsor Entertainment Earth has also indicated there will be some type of MOTU pre-order happening on Tuesday 3/21 on their Drop Zone page.

When more details become available on what these are, we will be sure to update you.

It's not Snake Mountain today, but it will be offered in the states next month.

Mattel has released a checklist showing all the MOTU Masterverse and Origins items coming out this year with images giving us our first look at many of these items.

Look for three Origins speciality itewms to go up for pre-order tomorrow (3/21) at 9am ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.
 

4/28 has been dubbed Masters of the Universe day and that I believe is when we will see the Origins Snake Mountain playset go up for pre-order. Pixel-Dan has posted a video giving more of a breakdown of the items shown in the checklist and more details is coming tomorrow.

Awesome! Lots of great stuff! Weird that Duplico isn't mentioned on the checklist, though. He SEEMS to be a Walmart exclusive in The USA- I'm guessing he was just overlooked somehow? Also no mention of Mattel Creations exclusives, though, so I guess this is just an ALMOST complete checklist...?

It appears Mattel has stepped up its sculpting as the head sculpts appear much improved over earlier Revelations and New Eternia iterations. Excited about this upcoming wave, and hope to see more figures announced in the coming months, especially a redo of He-Man.

If they ever arrive in my country I'd be interested in Merman, Clawful, Webstor, Whiplash, Ram man, and Slush head. But honestly, I'm happy with my current collection and would be fine if they never did make it over.

Awesome this Origins stuff went up for Pre-Order so quickly, ordered everything I wanted, I was worried about how easy it might be to get some of this stuff, but turned out pleasent with BBTS, I'm so stoked for new Origins stuff, now we just need that Snake Mountain Pre-Order and Moss Man, MM is the one I'm concerned about since Walmart here in Canada stinks for exclusives, and I need Moss Man, Can't not have such a integral character.

I'm so happy that one of my fav lines isn't actually going anywhere and all of the whispers of Origins going away is untrue!

Im curious as to why Snake Face is considered 'deluxe' and Ssqueeze, who obviously is much more plastic, is a regular release for pricing. It can't just be a second head that makes it deluxe...unless the snakes sticking out makes factory assembly more difficult.

I'm guessing that there's a way for his "chest snakes" to flip down, but there's no lever, so either a feature activated some other way, or maybe an interchangeable torso, like they did with King Hiss? It's weird that they wouldn't show that, or even have a photo with him fully "snaked out," but strange things happen. I was also shocked about Ssqueeze- I just kind of assumed he would be a deluxe figure.
