New Disney Parks Tron Merchandise Including ReAction Figures And More

Revealed today via Disney Park Blog a new Tron inspired attraction called Tron Lightcycle Run is coming to The Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort on April 4, 2023. With this new attraction they will be selling new Tron merchandise including a couple of action figure releated items. There will be new Tron Retro figures with lightcycles being offered as part of Super7's ReAction line as well as "Program" action figures which are described as being including some kind of identity chips that can then be used to re-program other Tron merchandise. No indication on who is making those figures or what scale they will be done in. You can see images for both lines below.

It's unknown if any of this merchandise will be released outside of the park at some later date but I wouldn't be surprised if eventually they are sold on the ShopDisney website for those who can't make it to the park.

Yesterday we first told you about these new TRON Identity Program action figures from Disney that are being sold at the new TRON Lightcycle / Run
Attraction located in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom Park that will open on April 4th. Today we have more details to share about these figures which appear to be taking a page from Hasbro's Selfie Series figures.

Prepare to enter the Grid through a Grid Digitization Portal located in Tomorrowland Launch Depot. Once inside, you will be able to create an action figure, or Program, that looks and sounds just like you.

 

 

As a User, you will go through the customization process. Image Capture will scan your facial features. Then, you’ll select your helmet and body configuration. Will your Program be an Enforcer or a Combatant? A Scout or a Heavy Sentry? The choice is yours. Also, don’t forget to select a team color. Finally, you’ll visit Command Input, where you will record 6 lines of dialogue in your own voice.

This process will take about 20 minutes to make your selections. Once all of your choices have been made, your Program will be ready for retrieval within 60 minutes. The figures cost $89.99 each.

Beginning March 21, 2023, Guests may book TRON Identity Program reservations for arrivals starting April 4, 2023.
