Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem Figures From Playmates Revealed

Images have surfaced online for what appears to be the first assortment of figures from Playmates Toys based on the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem movie. No word on the original source of these images or where the figures were found. Besides the 4 Turtles we see figures of Rocksteady, Bebop, Leatherhead, Superfly "Fly Guy" and Splinter.

The Seth Rogen produced animated movie is slated for release on August 4, 2023. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be directed by Jeff Rowe and written by Brendan O'Brien.

These are funky enough to be worth a purchase. The turtles look good

These look better then I thought they would, and actually have some good looking articulation, some of the characters look a bit weird like splinter and leatherhead, but the turtles are actually something alright, I wouldn't buy em though.

Not as good as I thought they'd be but not horrible either.....except Splinter. Splinter looks like he has a bit of a hangover and he's let himself go. Yikes.

Last month we told you how images had leaked out for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 4.5" movie figures coming from Playmates Toys. Well now Playmates has released a couple official images showing off the 4 Turtles as well as a new Party Wagon vehicle.

The other figures we have seen coming from the movie include Rocksteady, Bebop, Leatherhead, Superfly "Fly Guy" and Splinter. I expect we will be getting more looks of these later this week when Playmates holds it's Playdate event in NYC which takes place tomorrow.
 

The movie which we saw the first trailer for yesterday opens in theaters on August 4, 2023.

Well, these are decent updates on the classic designs. It's not the best I've seen so far, but still toyetic enough to get the attention.

While I really love the animation style they used for the movie I wouldn't say I'm into more childish looking turtles, they seem more like PreTeen Mutant Ninja Turtles.

There needs to be a slot in Donatello's leg to insert a sai.

Shown below via HLJ are official images for the upcoming products from Playmates Toys for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie. Shown are various versions of the 4 Turtles along with the Party Van vehicle and two motorcycle with figure sets.

We still don't have images of the actual single release figures of Rocksteady, Bebop, Splinter, Superfly and Leatherhead, but you can get better looks at those upcoming figures on the back of the packaging for the ones shown here.

Don't like that Raph's sai have thick blades while the movie uses the normal thin spike style. Other than inaccuracy, it means Raph can't hold the sai the way he doesn't on the package.

I get that these probably aren’t meant for us, but these designs are terrible.
