Overseas company Hiya Toys has announced they will be doing product from Star Trek. No word yet on what scale they will be doing and whether the figures will be 1:18,1/12 scale or both. Also no indication if the will be doing product from older shows and movies, new shows or both. When more details become available we will be sure to let you know.

I had a spark of excitement until I saw "To bravely go where no man has gone before."

Boldly go. BOLDLY. If they can't get one of the most iconic lines in sci-fi history correct, I don't hold out much hope for the figures.

It seems pretty likely that it will just be the 1/18th scale, which I don't like. I would have bought all of their Judge Dredd and a lot of their Alien and Predator figures if they were 1/12th scale. I've also wanted affordable 1/12th scale figures of the original Star Trek team for quite some time - but I won't buy 1/18th.

It doesn't even say "bravely." It says "brovely."

😆 lol if you know Hiya then mispellings aren't a surprise for this Chinese company

that is not a predictor of their quality

Hiya figures are very nice

As a 1/18th scale collector this would be a dream come true. Besides the last Star Trek movie we haven't had very many good figures in this scale.

Since it says "universe" I'm assuming they might be all of the series
but then there is also

I just can’t wait to get some cool articulated Borg, Klingons, etc. I will still be collecting all Playmates, Super7 and Mego but man it’s going to be great to have these too! I can’t wait to be able to fully realize the sheer awesomeness of Kirk-Fu in my action figure battles!
