G.I. Joe Classified Agent Helix And Joe Troop Pack Announced Plus Live-Stream Coming In Febaruary

Hasbro's Emily and Lenny from the G.I. Joe brand team today posted an unboxing video for the new Haslab Skystriker, and during the video the dropped the names of more G.I. Joe Classified 6" figures that will be coming in 2023. The first name dropped was Agent Helix from the IDW G.I. Joe comic series and the second was that they will be doing some kind of Joe Troop builder pack. The only hint they gave for the pack is that the troops would be coming with a lot of accessories and allow them to handle land or air. This could be a hit of a Jet Pack Trooper figure being included in the set.

They also announced that there will be a G.I. Joe Live-Stream coming in February. They didn't give a date, but based on the Entertainment Earth Drop Zone page it sounds like we will be getting G.I. Joe pre-order on February 14. If a pre-order is coming on the 14th it makes sense a live-stream would come on or around that day. When more details become available we will be sure to let you know.

As an IDW reader, I am super excited about getting Helix in the line. Now I'm crossing my fingers for Wraith and Zanya.

Helix is a welcome announcement, she's a great looking character, happy to hear she's coming. I wonder if they will do some other new Comic Characters like Firewall and Hashtag

Lenny and Emily have said that all characters from every aspect of the franchise (toys, comics, animation, live action movies, and video games) are fair game. That said, I would hazard a guess that characters that already were already made as figures in the past, as Helix was, are probably more likely to be made than those that weren't, so while I wouldn't count those two out, I would expect to see characters from the comics like Bombstrike, Wraith, and Zanya before them.

Glad to see them expanding our with helix.  Granted, I prefer ddp to idw for Joe, but that's just me showing my age

I prefer DDP too, but RoC is when I started really collecting Joe and I remember playing as Helix in the game so her getting a figure is surprisingly super nostalgic for me. RoC's whole line has been largely ignored for the past 14 years so its wonderful that it is finally getting some recognition, and plus Helix is just a super cool design
