Hello. Can you share some more information about yourself. Who are you? What is your history in the toy business? What is your short and long term vision? Etc.

Sure, would love to,

So me,

I’m a New England native and an avid collector of action figures especially GI joe since I was a kid. Huge fan of 80s toys

Came back in 2009 and started making customs as Lowlight27 @lowlight27

Made a small name for myself in the collector community.

Fast forward to 2014 at a Knights of Columbus meeting, one of my friends asked, why aren’t there any cool action figures out there that are bible based and then it hit me. I could create something that would speak to both the avid toy collector but also to parents who wanted to get something for their kids that delivered a positive message and helped build a conversation.

I started pulling together the resources and contacts around me and put together a plan.

I teamed up with Calvin Lo, a fellow custom artist who helped take my vision and put it to design.

Also I had a friend that was extremely knowledgeable about religion and pop culture and was dying to see some historically accurate Army builders (more on that to come). He was there to help consult and fund the initial designs.

I was fortunate enough to have become friends with some of the Boss Fight Studios crew who I had met at several local toy get together and were coming off their first successful Kickstarter. They were very helpful in giving advice and pointing me in the right direction to get this project off the ground.

Then life hit hard over the next few years until I was able to team up with PowerKid Designs who I met through a mutual friend who is a current toy designer on several well known projects. PowerKid Designs have been handling my production/manufacturing and final designs as we get ready for the Kickstarter next month.

Azrael is an interesting choice for a start.  Would love to see what you do with the archangels, or even a proper cherubim and seraphim. I would certainly be interested in such a line coming to fruition.

Is this going to be a Kickstarter project or what are you planning here.

What happened to The Heralds vs The Dredge four inch figures?

We have a Kickstarter planned for February 22, which is the first day of Lent and will last 45 days

We have some exciting stretch goals set up to please the custom artists and army builders that will bring the Heralds and the Dredge into light. We do also have some exciting surprises as well for the 4" collectors...

Today is the day!!! #almightylegends has officially gone live on Kickstarter! These are easily the coolest #bible themed #actionfigures I have ever seen. Hoping and praying they do well because I need them in my nerd cave. Head over to give them a little love right now and bring this dream to life! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/almightylegends/almighty-legends

Liking what I see so far....real talk though.  I hope you plan to include some diversity in this line (especially if you are basing it on the Bible).  Biblical people were darker skinned/Black  and while I get these are angels....I would like to see some that accurately depict the reality of these people and not what Hollywood has  peddled.  Please have some Black/POC angels to go with this

Oh Absolutely, if you look closely at St. Michael, he's a darker skin tone than his other Archangels and I also was influenced by African, Asian, and South American Cultures when designing the figures overall. I'm really happy that you are liking what you've seen so far and will stick around for what's to come. Thank you.

Just a head's up, y'all. Everything's basically fine right now, so no worries, but I want to make sure everybody's being careful. There's a fairly fine line with these between talking about the toys and discussing religion, and I want to make sure that line isn't crossed. Like I said everything's okay right now, so let's please keep it that way.
Thanks, guys

Good Afternoon all. There are three weeks left on this Kickstarter.  Theyve been making the rounds and done a couple more interviews.

(Personally I'd love to see him and Jay talk toys, and I think Jay would have some good questions)

The kickstarter is here.
