Channing Tatum Was Forced To Do The G.I. Joe Movies

Recommended Posts

If you hated the G.I. Joe live-action movies from Hasbro and Paramount, then apparently you aren't alone. Actor Channing Tatum who played one of the lead roles as the character Duke revealed he hated starring in the 2009 G.I. Joe Rise Of Cobra movie. So much so that he tried passing on the role seven times. He says that Paramount had an option on him and made him do the movie.

Because of his dislike for the first movie he asked to be killed off in the first 12 minutes of the second film G.I. Joe: Retaliation which also starred The Rock and Bruce Willis. He talks about this in a recent Vanity Fair Lie Detector Test you can watch below.
