New DC Multiverse Arrivials From Overseas - In Hand Looks At Eradicator, Superboy, Knightfall Catwoman, DC Super Powers And More

I went ahead and picked up the Flashpoint Aquaman for the Cyborg BAF part but the head sculpt is absolutely hideous. The body is fine as a repaint of the Endless Winter Aquaman, but that head sculpt just isn't suitable. I'll likely put it aside to be used on a generic villain figure at some point.

I really want the Deadman figure whose pre-order is sold out. I'm hoping that it won't be too hard to find after the release date later this week.

I was going to pre-order these from BBTS, but just like the last wave they have the DC Multiverse figures at $24.99 while everyone else still has them priced at $19.99. BBTS has been my preferred vendor for pre-orders for well over a decade, but I felt like I was forced to pre-order these at Entertainment Earth (who I've only used sparingly in the past) due to the $5 difference PER FIGURE. I also considered the McFarlane Store site directly but consider their shipping costs to be far too high. If this type of price discrepancy continues, EE will be earning a lot more of my business at the expense of BBTS.

I went ahead and pre-ordered Jay Garrick, Signal, Superboy, Kingdom Come Batman, Blue Hush Batman, Knightfall Catwoman and Mr. Freeze from EE.

FYI, the McFarlane store site also has a new Gold Label Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner available for pre-order as well (site exclusive). I wasn't interested in this, but I thought I'd at least mention it.

Very much the same boat regarding my go-to, BBTS.  I'm sure there's some reason for it, but an extra $5 above MSRP per figure adds up when you collect damn near everything.  I suspect they're going to lose out on a decent amount of business because of it, but like I said, I'm sure there's some reason.  Maybe it goes towards helping keep their shipping costs low.

Thanks for the heads up on the Blue Lantern Rayner, didn't even know that was going to be a thing.

This Kyle is a perfect example of why I can’t collect this line. He has great accessories, and solid pricing compared to what Hasbro is now charging, but one look at the bizarro body proportions and giant diaper and I’m out. Why do so many of their figures have such MASSIVE legs?

Nice Pamper, Kyle. Whelp, it is what it is, McFarlane once again opens the repaint floodgate. Nothing new, no surprise. I was done with McFarlane a month ago. I was also in the same mind set as @glhshelbyfor a minute. Mac had me under the spell with the prices and some well done figures and when he started doing "other" characters, but after a couple of really bad figures I have no faith on the consistency of the line other than in it's Batman related figures.

I'm confused at McFarlane's choices of figures under the "DC vs Vampires" label. Just like Batman, Joker was barely even existent in this series. Just call it Vampire Batman and Vampire Joker but neither of these figures have anything to do with the relatively recent comic series called DC vs Vampires. They're just the characters that Todd thought he could alter slightly and would be most likely to sell regardless if they were at all accurate to the story he's supposedly representing. And Walmart exclusives just suck, period.

Hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out, that is bizarre.  I don't think he's wearing gloves, though, I think that's just the color of his hands.

McFarlane does things that make no sense all the time. I've personally gotten tired of asking "why?"
