For Once in a blue moon, Todd actually releases a figure I'd want with Knightfall Catwoman, but it's just not as good as the one I already have which is the DC Collectibles Essential figure, which was way nicer, I would love to want more Multiverse but they just don't put out things I recognize, most of these variations of characters are whaa? to me.

I'll definitely be buying the Multiverse figures of Signal, Kon-El, Eradicator, Knightfall Catwoman and Classic Jay Garrick. Kingdom Come Batman and Vampire Batman are possible if I can find them at a lower price point. Signal is definitely my favorite of the group. I've got the Mattel "We Are Robin" version of Duke and the McFarlane Death Metal version, but this is the one that I really want.

Chances are I'll grab them all, but that Catwoman and Batman v.236 are probably the standouts.  Wish the Eradicator were his "normal" look, but being that that's the Gold Label version you just know there's a standardized repaint in the pipeline.

Knightfall classic Jim Balent-era Catwoman is my favorite, so even though I have other versions, she's a definite buy for me.   I also have the DC Direct Kingdom Come Batman from years back, but that one is a pick up also.   I like that weapons pack but I don't want to pay McF's site shipping so probably not unless there's a big sale or something.   If I could get it for free shipping, then yes.

Definitely interested in that Knightfall Catwoman, hopefully we eventually get a normal Eradicator. The others not interested in as I'm not entirely familiar with the charactors.

I see people saying that, but there's no repaint of parallax or azbats yet anywhere.  I'd rather superboy had his glasses but I'm sure I can get a 3p head and probably do the same or just paint eradicator myself.

Earlier today we told you how a number of recently announced DC Multiverse figures from McFarlane Toys had started to see release overseas including the Knightfall Catwoman and Superboy figures. Well now thanks to jackytoysbox we have even better looks at those figures. He has also done a video for Catwoman you can check out.

No there has been no indication we will see some other version of those two. That doesnt mean it wont happen at some point but may be a while.

Putting aside that those are still pretty recent figures (and Macfarlane's penchant for waiting at least a little while before putting out variants) I'd say the key difference is that those figures are already the "standard" look for those characters, while the gold label Eradicator here is the odd variation.  There's a history from him of putting out a version of a figure, then down the line putting out the version that fans actually wanted all along (look at say, Martian Manhunter, or the Movie-accurate Catwoman). Add in that Reign of the Supermen-era Eradicator would just be nothing more than an easy repaint (and Lord knows MacFarlane loves the easy repaints) and it's pretty much a lock that we'll see that figure at some point.

There are so many things I dont like about these figures, catwoman's diapers, erradicator and superboy's modern look, the mate grey belt on Kingdom come Batman, these line is always so close to being ok figures and for some reason they always fail in the end (in my opinion) not to mention that McFarlane Designers seem to hate scales or care little to nothing about sticking to a single scale (they always make figures with no mind to others they made before, one batman is huge, the next is tiny, superman is small next to batman, now catwoman is almost a marvel legends scale, thats one of the main reasons I havent gotten into this line), but I guess there will be plenty of people who collect these McFarlane DC figures who are happy with them, they are just not for me!

Scale is the number 1 issue for me. They have small medium large batmans and supermans. Drives me nuts but all that in my opinion is done purpose. Mcfarlane loves making something off in all his figs to make ppl buy more. I suppose that's one of the ways he's able to make unique sculpts.

i wanted to love this Catwoman, and she's almost there for me, the whip looks so thick/big, kinda stupid looking but the length looks great. love the clawed hands, hate the sculpted lines in her front of her outfit.

i wonder if those lines down the front of her are re-use from a possible unreleased comic/googles version of her? that torso piece is not the same as the Arkham or Movie one. could be from another female fig, not familiar with all of the ones released

That sums up my feelings on a lot of McFarlane stuff. Whether it's proportions on a fig, randomly deciding in the sculpt and/or paint to majorly depart from the source artwork that's on the package itself, odd articulation choices or something else, I find myself often asking, "Why? Why would you make that choice or approve that to go to production like that when we all know you're capable of doing better?"

Wow, that Catwoman has a serious case of Grandma butt going on. Not that every female character is expected to be perfect but based on the artwork this figure is supposed to be inspired from I'd call it a distinct failure. Jim Balent would be rolling over in his grave if he weren't still alive today. This is coming from a guy who was once so concerned about being so true to the artwork that he barely put any, if any articulation in his product at all. Maybe he had a point cuz this thing looks like a lawn biscuit. I know part of it has to do with the obligatory "toning down" of the WB environment and I know a lot of it has to do with the way McFarlane prefers to do his hip articulation with a layover piece, but wow, I can't believe he, of all people, looked at it and thought it looked good and let if through looking like she's got Depends on under her skin tight leather.

Hmmm...upon seeing more photos of that Jim Balent Catwoman...well, I'm glad I don't need to cancel a preorder because of my newfound wait-and-see toy philosophy.  Not liking the whole crotch area when posed.

Loving that Eradicator. Feeling a little mixed on the head sculpt of the Superboy though. And I think that will be my main Catwoman.
