Production is underway for Joker: Folie à Deux and director Todd Phillips posted an image of Joaquin Phoenix on set as Arthur Fleck.  The image features Fleck, appearing much thinner and more homicidal as he is getting a shave from someone during his stay at Arkham Asylum.  Since this movie is expected to be a musical, then maybe Fleck is getting a shave from Sweeney Todd?

Joaquin Phoenix is reprising his role as Arthur Fleck, along with Zazie Beetz reprising her role as Sophie.  Lady Gaga takes over as Harley Quinn, with an additional cast of Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey.

I was so sure they wouldn’t do a sequel to this, but now that it’s a musical and with Gaga I’m intrigued.

I’m definitely interested in seeing what they’ll do. GaGa does seems like a good fit for the series

Yeah I think she'll do something cool. I liked the idea of it being a one and done and was hoping we'd get a similar treatment with other characters. I'd love to see a Clayface movie. But I also love that this is going in such a different direction than the first.

I agree for sure. Even though he's been done already in TDK, Harvey Dent would make a good one of those movies too

I never saw the first one, but have been meaning to get around to it. I know it was well liked and won awards and stuff when it came out. When I think Harley Quinn Lady Gaga isn't the first person that comes to mind, but from the looks of the comments on here I guess it was a good casting? I mean she is a strange woman, so maybe it isn't too far off base after all...

Variety has stated that Todd Phillips' Joker: Folie à Deux is largely considered to be a "mostly a jukebox musical," incorporating a minimum of 15 reimagined versions of "very well-known" songs. Among these is reported "That's Entertainment" from the 1953 musical "The Band Wagon," famously performed by Judy Garland. Nevertheless, there remains a possibility for an original song (or two) to be included in the final cut. Information regarding the composers of these tracks, as well as the performers, remains undisclosed.

Hildur Guðnadóttir, the composer who won an Oscar for her work on the original "Joker" movie, is known for incorporating her unique and evocative musical cues into every piece.

No official confirmation has been provided regarding the specific plot details of "Folie à Deux." However, the film is categorized as a drama and is set in and around Arkham Asylum. In addition to Phoenix and Gaga, the cast features Zazie Beetz, an Emmy nominee, along with Catherine Keener and Brendan Gleeson, both Oscar nominees. The screenplay for the movie was a collaborative effort between Phillips and Scott Silver.

I'm sorry but this looks like it's gonna be the worst DC movie ever.

Lets see that trailer you watched to come to that conclusion.

That’s what I thought.

Yea just what I thought. Looks like a Sony verse movie DC style. This looks terrible, was a sequel really needed for the joker. Lady Gaga needs to stick to making bad music.
