People can cry about Chris Pratt and his voice acting (doesn't bother me) all they want. This thing looks to be at least 1,000 times more entertaining than that steaming heap on a dusty front lawn on on a hot and windy day that Indiana Jones is gonna be. This thing looks good and it looks to be incorporating characters, places and things from all corners of the Super Mario Universe (SMU, I just coined that). If Pratt had come out and done the typical "It'sa Meeeee" voice the online community woulda tore him apart, and for more reasons than the obvious, just like they complain about pretty much everything else he does. The dude just can't seem to win, yet he keeps winning. Chalk another one up in the books.

I was actually surprised by this trailer, I hadn't given much thought to this movie after it was announced but this looks like some decent fun, this looks like a I will watch it day 1 it comes to a streaming service but likely won't set foot in a theatre for it.

but from the looks of it all, they did this right, Animated was the way to go here.
