NYCC McFarlane Toys Panel - Spawn, Movie Maniacs, DC Multiverse, DC Super Powers, Nolan Batman, 66 Batman And More

I'm hopeful that with the pink radioactive Batman figure being released, McFarlane will release a Mad Hatter figure since that is the villain that was in the episodes that the pink cowl appeared. I also will keep my fingers crossed for a Bookworm figure. Don't know if False Face, Shame, Siren, or other villains are in the mix. I'd think Alfred in his regular suit will eventually get released. Maybe an Eli Wallach Mr. Freeze figure has a shot since that would just be a head swap like the Julie Newmar & Eartha Kitt Catwoman figure bodies were identical.

I can't wait to see what newer batmobiles or other vehicles from DC line of McFarlane will bring us. The super powers line is turning out to be good. I hope he does other redeemer versions in his Spawn line, but I'm interested to see how that Medieval Spawn turns out.

During NYCC we got our first look at the figures in the upcoming wave DC Multiverse 7" figures from McFarlane Toys based on the Christopher Nolan Batman movies which included figures of Batman, Scarecrow, Joker, Bane and Two Face. Well now thanks to Alex Chen we have what apprears to be a better look at the Batman figure from the wave. The original source of the image is unknown but likely someone who got their hands on the figure from overseas. No word yet on when the wave will be made available in the US.

not bad, but hope they catch that QC on the eyes before they go to production , guessing this is a leaked factory error

Sculpt looks great. Wish he wasn't so "grey" tho. Still will be buying the whole wave lol

This site is terribly laid out. Trying to figure out people's replies is like solving a murder mystery. Who? What? When? About? Flavor? Where am I?

With that said the Nolan batman looks good.

LOL its just a standard message board forum. They've been around for over a decade.

McFarlane Toys today released a preview image for their upcoming DC Multiverse The Dark Knight Trilogy Build-A wave Two-Face Figure. This will be part of a Build-A-Wave which as we saw last year at NYCC will include Scarecrow, Joker, Bane and Batman. Look for these to go up for pre-order soon.

I want to be excited about these, but the likeness for Harvey is awful.  Worse than the Mattel head from 2008.  It does not look like Aaron Eckhart at all.  It looks like a generic comic book face. Todd needs to clean house with the head sculpt department; too many 'off' likenesses (ex. Adam West, Ben Affleck, John Cena, Andre the Giant, Wallace Shawn, etc.)

yeah gotta agree that Two Face head sculpt looks nothing like Aaron, which is disappointing, since what's the point of doing these movie figures if they don't look like the actors from the movies? it looks like another comic figure, ah either way I likely wasn't planning on going for it, but I do still think it's cool that Todd is making figures for the Dark Knight Trilogy, I hope he can get some better likenesses in the future, and hoping we can get Batman Returns Catwoman with a good Michelle Phifer head sculpt.

Todd has to do a second wave to include Catwoman, Ra's al Ghul, and Talia al Ghul. He could do a Bruce Wayne or Unmasked Batman figure, then make a Zsasz build-a-figure. Hope he's reading this.

There is nothing standard about how this is viewed outwardly after a comment is posted. Images don't show up. Its like this site was made for a 90s phone flip phone.

i agree, but want to add Alfred and Lucius, i don't even care if he cheaps out, makes Alfred a regular release and uses the same suit body, changes the colors, adds a bowtie and makes Lucius a gold or whatever exclusive.

I'm hoping Bane is the BAF and that he's bigger than Tom Hardy s proportions in the movie.   It's not bugging me that the likeness on two face is not accurate I actually like how this one looks.  Like others here I'd love a second wave with Ras al Ghul,  Catwoman, Gordon and Alfred maybe with the Batman Begins suit as the Batman of the wave.  Heck throw in the ski mask version as a chase figure.   And an in scale Tumbler?  Don't even get me started on the possibility of a BvS Affleck Batman and a Batmobile.
