Recommended Posts

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Jacob Lofland has a key role in Joker: Folie à Deux, and will play an inmate at the Arkham Asylum who develops a relationship with Arthur Fleck, aka The Joker.

Plot details are being kept secretive, but it is believed to be set in part in Arkham Asylum, the insane asylum frequented by many of Batman’s villains in the comics. The project also has a musical component. Additionally, the title references a medical term for an identical or similar mental disorder that affects two or more individuals.

The sequel once again stars Joaquin Phoenix as  Arthur Fleck, aka The Joker with Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, and Catherine Keener.  Director Todd Phillips returns to helm the project that he and Scott Silver wrote.

Warner Bros. has set an October 4th, 2024 release.
