Mondo - LIMITED Release SDCC Masters of the Universe Revelations Skeletor

Mondo is treating fans to a brand-new poster, a vinyl record, and a Skeletor 1/6 scale figure. The Skeletor 1/6 scale figure will be an SDCC exclusive, and will be released in a limited edition of 2000 copies. The model is a buffed-up Skeletor (as seen in Masters of the Universe: Revelations), and it comes with four different sets of hands and faces, so you can put him in whatever threatening pose you’d like. The figure also comes with Skeletor’s signature Havoc staff with a goat skull on its end, and also his Power Sword.

I wish Mattel would just license these sculpts and shrink it down to their masterverse line or something. These mondo figures look beautiful, I would love them in 1/12 or 1/10 scale.

Wait, so I’ve seen this reported two ways—1) that it can simply be preordered on mondoshop website on preview night or 2) that it can be preordered at the mondo shop booth (the physical location on the SDCC exhibit hall floor).  Do we know which is correct?  I want this and I’ll be at SDCC but to get to shop at the Mondo booth early in the day you have to submit a request in a lottery system and there is a limit on how many things you can request (basically you get allotted daily points for each day of the con and then you submit the points as lotto entries towards a variety of different things on a list—getting a time slot to shop at the Mondo booth is one of the things on that list).  This lotto ends Sunday so I need to finalize my list this weekend.  If I can just order this online then that’s fine and I’ll use my points elsewhere, but if I have to go to the booth I need to apply some points towards Mondo.  If this is only available online and not at all available on the booth then they shouldn’t be calling it an SDCC exclusive which just adds to the confusion.

Also, maybe it’s just because my wallet is already feeling all the stress from the money I’ll be spending at Comic Con but it really seems like Mondo is nailing us with these back to back expensive MOTU figures
