HBO Developing 'Game Of Thrones' Sequel Series About Jon Snow

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that HBO is in early development for a live-action spinoff series centered on the Game Of Thrones character Jon Snow.  Kit Harington is attached to reprise the role should a series move forward.

In the final season of Game Of Thrones, Snow discovered his true name was Aegon Targaryen, a potential heir to the Iron Throne but was exiled from Westeros and journeyed North of the Wall with the Wildlings to leave his old life behind.

Let me guess, the show opens with Jon Snow waking up and we find out that the whole last season of Game of Thrones was just a dream he was having.

As per Deadline, Kit Harington announced that the Game of Thrones sequel he was set to star in is no longer being pursued by HBO.

In June 2022, news about a potential series revolving around Harington's iconic character, Jon Snow, from Game of Thrones, was leaked. Subsequently, George R.R. Martin, the author, disclosed that the series was tentatively titled "Snow" and had enlisted talented writers/showrunners, who were brought on board by Harington.
