Super7 Teases Possible ReAction Figures for Discharge!

Recommended Posts

I sure wish Super 7 loved retro anime as much as they love lesser known rock/rap/metal/punk bands. Would love to see them do Evangelion, Tenchi Muyo, Slayers, Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Trigun, you get the picture. BST AXN has come out with some stuff but the face scupts and scale are all over the place.

BSN is garbage, though. The pics they release are all of handpainted prototypes and look nothing like the real figure. That line was looking like a winner until I got to see real figures in front of me, and then I said no thanks other than the two Cowboy Bebop figs.

Yes, Super7 needs to do some anime Reaction. It's perfect for something like Dragonball given the vast array of characters each of those shows contains. It could support a line for years. I can't afford something like the Figurarts line and the Bandai USA line is fine but Reaction could give us a line with crap tons of characters in a short period of time and plus there are plenty of opportunities for legit reuse and/or paint variants given it's literally part of the property.

There's a company, Dasin, that are making 3rd party yu yu Hakusho figures right now. I think the latest release was Hiei. They've also done Slam Dunk, Samurai X, Bleach, One punch man figures.
