Is Hasbro's Next Star Wars Haslab Campaign For A ForceFX Lightsaber?!?

Last night Hasbro's Pulse website went a little crazy. Basically it appeared one of the site's web developers screwed up and made pages normally only visible to them, accessible to everyone. These are often pages used by web developers to test out various functions and looks for the site. So with this we saw a number of strange things like some kind of section for "6" Selfie Action Figure Line", an image of an old Kenner X-Wing and a Haslab listing for a Star Wars Black Series ForceFX Lightsaber for Reva (The Third Sister).

Now being this is something from the new Obi-Wan Disney+ series, it makes sense Hasbro would do this as a new product, but making it a Haslab item is somewhat odd to me. The item was said to have progressive ignition, blaster deflect, battle clash, coordinated attack technology in the hilt and blades as well as removable blades and display stand. The price was $499.99 and would require a minimum of 5k backers.

Most FX Lightsabers from Hasbro costs around $279.99. Of course this one looks like it combines 2 blades so basically the $500 is likely reflecting essentially two lightsabers being offered as one. Its possible the higher $500 price may have scared off regular retail interest in this item causing Hasbro to offer it through Haslab, but Hasbro has released other double-bladed lightsabers at regular retail in the past.

The fact this was listed in the developer section of the site along with number of other crazy things, its hard to say if this is really going to be a Haslab item or not. With Star Wars Celebration starting today, if this is the next Hasbro Star Wars Haslab, we will likely be getting the official details soon and if real the campaign looks like will officially kick on on Friday.
