Hasbro Announced New Star Wars Fan First Wednesday Live-Stream For April 6

Hasbro today is holding a new Fan-First Live-Stream with the Star Wars brand team where they will be revealing new Black Series and Vintage Collection figures. We are bringing you complete coverage of the event as it happens.

Black Series Deluxe Saw Gerrera revealed. Be up everywhere for pre-order tomorrow at 1pm ET.

Gaming Greats Republic Commandos Commander Sev also available for pre-order tomorrow at 1pm ET. Gamestop exclusive.

Vintage Collection Gaming Greats Shae Vizla and BattleFront II Lando. Both of these will be Fan Channel exclusives available for pre-order tomorrow at 1pm ET.

Pretty underwhelming for Black Series. Might grab Saw if it gets clearanced. Have no desire for any comic figures or gaming greats.

I did like the pipeline reveal of Mando Season 1 Migs Mayfeld. I'm glad I passed on the first Migs release.

I understand, but don’t sympathize with the deluxe price point BS is getting. If they’re going deluxe they need to justify it with alt pieces or accessories. I mean, Saw could’ve had an alt bald head, a Galen Hologram, the message… SOMETHING. 

The Mayfeld is a must buy for me.

The Saw Guerrera looks good but not enough there to justify the Deluxe price tag, again. Then we get to the two lines that have potential but seem to be reduced to repaints and/or minor retooling: Gaming Greats and Comic line. The Terry Dodson style comic book Leia is actually one of my favorite looks for the character and the figure doesn't look bad but I'm not sure at that price. I was excited for Sergeant Kreel and the possibility for Task Force 99 figures but it looks like just like Black Krsantan they just reused an old mold when they should have sculpted a new one, the figure should be a bit bigger and bulkier.
