The cartoons is the only reason your seeing this stuff on the shelves at all. My guess though this figure will kick off a Classics like subline within Masterverse.

This one have a different torso it seems, the loin cloth looks way better, it seems like they nailed in almost every possible way, that head sculpt seems like money, what happened? How they did not screw this up?

Holy crap...that heman looks amazing! Lol well there goes my kitbashed classic masterverse heman in the trash. Damn this line will be the king of double/triple dipping on characters! Hmmm I'm going to return the extras I got back to target with all these redone characters. Glad I save all my receipts. I bought tons of extras for customs thinking this line will end due to it pegwarming. It'll be very interesting to see what target does when they get more new motu masterverse along with the current ones clogging my shelf. Even the origins vehicles aren't selling in all 8 of my targets so I'll be scooping them up on discount

I just noticed, this He-man have a vertical hinge to hold the sword properly, they listened to Anthony Customs, he will be able to make the transformation pose, I'm already thinking about a Prince Adam release, maybe two, one with this sculpt and one like some people want, skinny and shorter

Origins were on the shelves first and doing fine. I doubt a new cartoon was really needed to make a new Classics line at retail be successful. GI Joe seems to be doing good without a TV show. GI 25th was fine too without additonal support, then the movie came and we know how that went. I think these brands have enough name recognition and fan bases that they really don't need some new movie or tv show to help sell figures at stores. Maybe the stores need that reassurance to want to have the space for them. But to me it feels it hurts more than helps in the long run.

When I saw how the upper torso on revelations heman was so thin and had no V shape I felt it was done purposely to make a sale for a better looking heman down the line. Plus, the revelations chest harness straps were so thin lol. I'm scrambling now to return all my extras to target. GOTTA GET MY MONEY BACK AND USE IT FOR ALL THE NEW IMPROVED VERSIONS THAT SHOULDVE BEEN RELEASED IN THE FIRST PLACE!

I see what you mean, I told myself I wouldn't buy Revelations He-Man but after seeing Viking He-Man official images, which I had already pre ordered, there was a huge discount on Revelations He-man, I ended up getting him for half of the retail price for the shield and I kinda regret now, getting him and Skeletor, even if it was half the price each

I appreciate the effort from Mattel, but I am just staying with Origins. They should have just

re-released classics if they wanted this type of thing.

I bought my first masterverse set for 50 each...I definitely regret it. I just love this line so much because they feel like marvel legends motu figs with the double joints. 

Receipts!!!!! Save all of them em because this line will go nuts making multiple characters, spreading out the better parts/sculpts/weapons in future releases.

I do hope mattel doesn't overdo it though. As a 41 yr old collector, historically speaking from what I've noticed....if it's overdone you start to see a lot of figure swaps and stolen parts in retail stores.

Okay this is what I wanted from masterverse.  Classic characters, new styles.  I'm cool with mid ng in other stuff but this nails it.  If they do a Beastman and a TrapJaw like this.... Well I'm gonna have to get em again

That 40th anniversary He Man is perfect! I just kinda wish he wouldn't have a wash tho

As for the other reveals, armored He Man looks kinda odd, but the rest all look good!
