My Mixed Collection

I had a toy airplane that was given to me as a gift when I was a kid. However, I played with this plane a lot during my childhood and it finally disappeared. Years later, I found the same plane and bought it. It has been a beautiful memory and a valuable object for my collection.  :)

Hello everyone,

I bought a few new items this week. My brother gave me a gift Ronald McDonald toy. He has fallen asleep. :) He snores when you press on his stomach. A few days ago I found my old watches while going through the boxes. The watch with the image of Mickey Mouse has a winding mechanism.

Newly added toys to my collection. In general, I was happy to encounter toys from the old period. To give a few examples, for example, Getafix is a figure from 1995. Alf is a very high quality figure from 1988. The horse figure is from 1971 and I plan to add a jockey on it soon and display it.

The Mouse and the Mole, one of the figures from the Lurchi series, must belong to 1970. Shin-Chan figures are from 1992. I don't know about Rabbit and Arcade Tickets. The orange Gi Joe figure is from 1992. Two mini figures are from the Pic-nic Surprise series and are from the 90s. Mickey Mouse pez candy boxes are the 2007 Special Edition version.

I hope everyone enjoys looking at the photos. Thank you so much. :)

I did some cleaning on my shelves this week. There were also new figures added to the collection. Some Space Jam figures. The Ogra figure from the Golden Girls series is from the 80s. The energizer bunny from the 90s that I've been looking for a long time. Two old figures from the Asterix series and a two Pink Panther bag have been added to the collection. Also, my aunt gave gift me a mandalorian the child figure. It looks really cute. In a few days I will add photos of new objects to come. Thank you. :)

Hello everyone again after a long time.

Those who follow the subject will know, I mentioned before. I did a big cleaning and new additions in my collection room. I did various studies to come up with new ideas and to display more figures in my room.

To summarize in general:

A deep cleaning was done for all figures and collection objects in the room one by one. Hard-to-clean parts were cleaned with fine brushes and dust was removed.

The shelf with the cars was canceled and turned into a shelf with mostly old figures. (shelf above TV)

I covered the design of the wall, on which Hitman paintings are hung, with tumbled wood decor. I think it looks nice.

I made serious space on the shelves for many figures and tried to display them as much as I could so that I could see them.

Many new toys were added to the collection in about 2 months. Those who already follow the subject will notice some of them. To name a few of them;

Just now has a battle cat. Also, Angella has been added to the collection. There will be those who remember the game Alone in the dark. The game may not be very good, but the figure looks good. Putface from the Robocop series has taken its place in the collection.

I would like to give brief information about the little bees you see on the shelves and a few figures behind them.

Bees belong to the 1980's from the bee yeast series and are toys that come out of bubble gum.

A few of the other figures are toys that came out of Linde Coffee packages between 1950 and 1970. In fact, when I talked to the founder of a museum about toys, he gave me information about many of these toys. Really old and fun toys.

Many figures and objects that I could not add photos of, or even forgot about, were added to the collection. I will share them all in the future.

The cleaning process has exhausted me and I don't think I will ever have time to rest. I haven't been able to take a vacation.

I would like to thank everyone who gave me ideas, information and support with their comments.

Have fun watching. :)

(I keep adding photos.)

What lights do you use.  I've been starting to use Govee but I'm game for learnjng.

I generally buy white LED strips and use them by cutting and soldering them in the sizes I want.

I implemented an idea I had thought about before for strip LEDs. I bought the thinnest plastic cable tray and placed these LEDs inside. In this way, the light illuminates the figures very well and does not bother my eyes.

This is my light method. :)

Nice collection! Dig the 90s Action Man stuff. That’s a really underrated line

Thank you very much. :)

The Actionman series, produced in the 90s, was actually a popular series. He even released some versions in very large boxes and sometimes included 2 figures. had many accessories. In some series of Action Man, joint movements were quite limited. I think this has reduced the interest a little bit.

action man also had many rivals. I think the 90s were the golden age of quality figures. Batman, Mask, Power Rangers and TMNT appeared with very nice figures at that time. They were not as big as Action Man, but I think it was a great advantage that their prices were cheaper and they all had cartoons on TV.

Action man has of course experimented with it on TV or in game for console. However, in my opinion, the 90s were the last era for Action Man. I never liked the Action Man series that came out in the 2000s.

What do you think about 90's Action Man? I am wondering.

I personally really liked it. But living in the US, it was really overshadowed by its cousin GI Joe. I honestly liked it better than that eras 12” Joe offerings

You are right. The GI Joe series also has a significant popularity and may have surpassed Action Man. It's not really my area of interest and I have a few figures from the Gi Joe series in my collection.

However, I know there are very serious Gi Joe collectors.
