Err....I kinda feel like the roles should be reversed. If you'd have told me that between the two, one would be cast as an experienced BA Indiana Jones type explorer and one was the partner (i.e. sidekick) I woulda totally got it wrong.

I can see how you would get that impression. I mean Holland HAS been playing Iron Man's sidekick since Civil War. Why should ersatz Indiana Jones be any different?

I can see where they are going with this being an introduction to the characters. Both Sully and Nathan are still young like they were portrayed in Uncharted 2. Altho Sully was not super buff and beefy which is jarring. It seems they are going for a set of movies so they are trying to get them young. I can see Tom as young Nathan at least but not Marky mark as Sully. Just seems weird. And kind of weird and interesting that they are doing multiple scenarios from multiple games in this. Its going to be another movie I have to fully turn my brain off to enjoy im sure.

Sony has released an official film clip from "Uncharted," which sees "Spider-Man" star Tom Holland as a young Nathan Drake getting thrown off a cargo plane in a hair-raising action scene.

Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother...but only if they can learn to work together.
