Wonder Woman franchise director Patty Jenkins and Lynda Carter spoke today during DC FanDome and confirmed that the third sequel is still in production.

“We’re super excited about Wonder Woman 3. Gal (Gadot), who is so bummed about not being here, who’s the busiest person in the world, with now three little kids and shooting,” said Jenkins.

“We are all three very excited about some things coming up with Wonder Woman 3″ added Jenkins while keeping the lid on the next film.

“Wonder Woman 3 is coming!” said Carter.

The third movie was announced after Wonder Woman 1984, the second movie was released over Christmas of 2020 but fell par in profit due to the pandemic, and a majority of movie theaters closed including box office markets Los Angeles and New York.

Well shes so far shooting 50/50... first movie was fantastic and the second was an abomination that shouldnt have been made. Hopefully 3 comes back around to being great and not a turd sandwich like 1984.

Not Knowing the in and outs of...

DC/Marvel, contract, Issues, "things", etc, etc....

I Wish "Joss Whedon" had hands on WW ;^)

Yeah he did such a great job on Justice League.... No way that movie could have been any better.  I mean if someone re did it and released it directly to HBO on a stupid video format even a secondary release in black and white JW would always be the difinitive release.  Nobody could make it any better...

I think if they leave CP out and stick to the comic books they will be ok.

JW should stick to things he knows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and growing the same kind of beard a 14 year old can.

I have no desire to see any more of Whedon’s work after all of the recent revelations of his behavior. But I still find it funny that people look at his work on a film that he literally was brought into when it was 90% filmed and give him crap for how terrible it is.

If nothing else, the Snyder Cut proved that there was not a good film there. An extremely LONG film? Sure. But not good.

Lol, when are we gonna stop letting these directors use the Plague as a convenient excuse and have them take ownership of crappy work?

First Wonder Woman was good, but that was directed as if someone was trying to do a good story to get recognition, and she did.

Wonder Woman 84 was clearly directed as someone who's gotten a big head about themselves and decided to start a crusade rather than tell a good story.

I hope we can turn back to what seemed to start off pretty well. Just tell a good story, have decent acting and leave your baggage at the door.
