Warner Bros. Japan has released a new Japanese version of 'The Batman' trailer.  The trailer features Japanese language but does contain new footage.  We should be getting a American version shortly.

Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman, striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies—Alfred Pennyworth, Lt. James Gordon—amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens.

“When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman, Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin, Carmine Falcone, and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.

The Batman will hit theaters on March 4th, 2022.

So far I'm liking what I'm seeing but Pattinson still isn't grabbing me as Batman. I know they said the same about Keaton and he turned out great but I m still not sold on Pattinson.  I think what Ledger and Nicholson were to the Joker, Affleck and Keaton are to Batman. I ll be happy for Pattinson to prove me wrong.

Deadline has reported that 'The Batman' will be the longest Dark Knight film, coming in at two hours and 55 minutes with eight minutes of credits.  This was confirmed after the MPAA gave the film a PG-13 rating.

'The Batman' from Warner Bros. and DC stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader in his second year of fighting crime, watching as he uncovers corruption in Gotham City that connects to his own family while facing a serial killer known as the Riddler (Paul Dano). Zoë Kravitz is playing Catwoman, with Colin Farrell fully transforming himself into the Penguin. Barry Keoghan, Peter Sarsgaard, Amber Sienna, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, and John Turturro round out the cast.

'The Batman' will be the third-longest superhero film to be released following Avengers: Endgame, which came in at three hours and one minute, and while Zack Snyder’s Justice League went straight to HBO Max last March, it’s the longest overall, at runtime of four hours and two minutes.

Compared to past Dark Knight movies, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (two hours, 45 minutes), The Dark Knight (two hours, 32 minutes) and Batman Begins (two hours, 20 minutes), and Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which came in at the same length as the first Dark Knight.

Matt Reeves wrote the film with Peter Craig and produced it with Dylan Clark, with Simon Emmanuel, Walter Hamada, Michael E. Uslan, and Chantal Nong Vo serving as its exec producers, and Toby Hefferman as associate producer.

'The Batman' is scheduled for a March 4th release.
