Oh Sweet  Jesus. Everything about this even down to the packaging is just wrong. Crap and wrong. I know it's a budget line like those My Hero Academia figs he does at the smaller scale, but those figs at least look like they're supposed to look. Either McFarlane doesn't pay for likeness rights or his sculptors suck at capturing likeness on a consistent basis. Either that or he's not using photo real tech. His likenesses have almost consistently all blown and this is one of the worst.

McFarlane seems like either they think they don't have to pay actors for their likeness if they make the figure kinda look like not the actor, or are they are just not that good at making faces look like the actors....

McFarlane Toys today released an image for their Retro Batman 66 Batman series Unmasked Batman figure which went up for pre-order today on Target's website. In the image we get a preview for the upcoming Riddler figure which will be part of the second wave that will also see a Joker and Batman in swim shorts.

Shown below via the overseas retailer Ht Toyshop are in hand images for the second wave of Target Exclusive 6" Retro Batman 66 TV Series figures which includes Surfing Batman and Joker as well as the Riddler. Also shown is the NYCC exclusive unmasked Batman. Here in the US these will be sold as Target store exclusives but right now the unmasked Batman is the only one that has been made available for pre-order. Here is the info on the other three:

McFarlane Toys has released official images for their Target Exclusive 6" Retro Batman 66 TV Series Wave 2 figures which includes Riddler, Batman In Swim Shorts and Joker In Swim Shorts. Unfortunately neither Batman or Joker come with Surf Boards like where seen in the episode where they had the swim shorts on.

Riddle me this--As long as McFarlane is redoing things other companies already did, why not re-release the entire Batman the Animated Series line, with updated articulation?!?  He has the rights with DC Direct and all.   There are various reasons why I missed out initially and would love another chance, especially with those outrageous secondary market $$$.
