Recommended Posts

Bridget Regan will be taking on recurring the role of Pamela Isley, a.k.a. Poison Ivy, for the second season of The CW’s Batwoman.

Pamela Isley, the former botany student of Gotham University, who was a passionate, brilliant scientist with a mind for changing the world for the better. Pamela’s plans shifted when she was experimented on by a colleague, injected with various plant toxins which turned her into the infamous Batman villain: Poison Ivy. With a formidable power coursing through her veins, Pamela used her powers to do what she thought was right … even if Batman and those closest to her disagreed with her dangerous methods. Now effectively wiped off the board for years, Batwoman and the Bat Team must prepare themselves for Poison Ivy to return with a vengeance.

Regan joins recently announced cast members Nick Creegan and Victoria Caragena, who will appear as Marquis Jet and Renee Montoya.

Regan most recently appeared in Paradise Lost, also appeared as Rose/Sin Rostro in Jane the Virgin, Dottie in Marvel’s Agent Carter and Rebecca in White Collar.

Oh, Bridget, no!

I mean, I know a recurring gig on a TV show is a quick way to score some cash after live theater took a huge hit during the pandemic . . . but Batwoman?

Talk about slumming.

I felt the same way, I love Bridget, she's absolutely gorgeous but not even her will make me watch this. This just reminds me how much I miss Agent Carter.

Don't Forget Legend of the Seeker! Bridget will always be Kahlan Amnell to me.

They did hint at Poison Ivy in the finale.

Well she will definitely steal the spotlight from Batwoman.

The way the show performed last season, I'm pretty sure that's the point.

how is this "slumming"? theres a really good chance this is the highest paying role of her career. thats the complete opposite of "slumming".
