We got our first look at this one back in February, and now Mezco has released a new teaser image for their upcoming One:12 Collective Superman (comic) figure which will be going up for pre-order tomorrow (8/11). Check back then for more images and details.

I am so stoked to finally see that this figure is going up for preorder, and I'm still so happy mezco took another much needed shot at this character in his classic suit, as the first release from years ago, in my view, was subpar and not that good at all. This is a much needed update.

The One:12 Collective Superman: Man of Steel Edition is outfitted in his iconic suit which proudly displays the ‘House of El’ family crest and features a cape with an integrated posing wire. He comes with seven head portraits including a light-up heat vision portrait.

Superman is prepared to exact swift justice on enemies like Starro - the mind-controlling, intergalactic starfish which attaches to most One:12 Collective heads, and also Black Mercy - a parasitic alien plant with posable tentacles.

The Last Son of Krypton comes complete with a Phantom Zone Projector - used to send the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy into the Phantom Zone, two punch FX that attach to his hands, three magnetic bullet ricochet FX that attach to his chest, and a Kryptonite display trophy.

He looks awesome, but I do wish he came with another bottled mini city of Kandor. Would have been awesome to see him with a pair of glasses and a top hat and overall coat to put on him for a Clark Kent disguise! But I did grab him up as a preorder. Cannot wait.

I'm getting street thug or mob enforcer vibes from that face. Even the smiling one looks more sinister then friendly.

Well. The accessories are cool. I like the starro and black mercy picks and the different kryptonite display is nice. Supes is a little bulky and the heads are not quite there for me.
