Netflix has released the official trailer, a new promotional poster and new images for the new, upcoming anime fantasy movie 'The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.'

Before Geralt, there was Vesemir - a cocky young witcher who delights in slaying monsters for coin. When a dangerous new power rises on the Continent, Vesemir learns that some witchering jobs are about more than just money…

The world of The Witcher expands in this anime origin story: Before Geralt, there was his mentor Vesemir -- a swashbuckling young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin. But when a strange new monster begins terrorizing a politically-fraught kingdom, Vesemir finds himself on a frightening adventure that forces him to confront the demons of his past.

'The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf' stars the voices of Theo James as Vesemir, Lara Pelver as Tetra, Graham McTavish as Deglan and Mary McDonnell as Lady Zerbst

Directed by animator Kwang Il Han from a screenplay by Beau DeMayo.  Beau DeMayo, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich & Kwang Il Han are producing.

'The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf' is premiering on August 23rd, only on Netflix.

Ive enjoyed just about all the netflix anime shows so I will definitely be watching this when it hits.

Love me some witcher but i Don't know about this after watching the trailer.  But i will give it a fair watching.

FILAVANDREL (who also appeared in live-action in The Witcher Season 1) is a fallen elf king and an old friend to Vesemir.

(Young) VESEMIR grew up as a servant on a nobleman’s estate, yearning to break free of his social standing and to explore the Continent to find his destiny.

DEGLAN is the hardened warrior-leader of the witchers and committed to doing whatever is necessary to protect his “boys”.

LADY ZERBST is a Kaedwen noblewoman who is one of the king’s most trusted advisors, and a fierce supporter of the witchers.

TETRA GILCREST is a powerful sorceress who works to keep peace on the Continent by ensuring that magic is not abused.

LUKA is an outspoken witcher and compatriot of Vesemir’s.
