Well, I would have thought that Malak or Bastilla Shan was a more glaring omission in the KOTOR lineup, but if they make a good and accurate HK-47, I'll buy the rusty old assassin droid for sure.
I don't really care about the others unless "Montana" is a Dark Trooper or Boba Fett in his repainted armor.
Anyway, as long as they don't make Lobot in The Black Series. Goodness knows fans don't want him. 🙄😒😠😡🤬

So do I. So do a lot of people. By my count before it closed, he actually won the fan vote two years ago, and I'm convinced Hasbro just said Luke Skywalker won because they figured he's sell better or something. I'm also a little convinced someone working on The Black Series team just doesn't want to make him. It's been two years but so far the best collectors have is a TVC figure "in the pipeline."
I was being sarcastic, dude. I thought the emojis made that clear.

I'm curious about the Jedi Training Leia and Luke. I'll have to see what the Mandalorian figures are to see if it's something I would buy; I want a Dark Trooper but I'm worried they'll make it a Dekuxe release which would make it difficult for me to army build due to price. The HK release sounds promising, I'm hoping either HK 47 or HK 50s. I have no interest in the rest.

I feel like it's a given that they'll start by making HK-47, and from there a figure of an HK assassin droid from the 50 series is a simple repaint. I almost forgot about HK-51, and I'd buy him, too. A lot of shared parts between a figure of 51 and 47 (or 50) should make going between the two pretty easy, and 51 would mean they were expanding the Gaming Greats line into TOR, which I really want them to do.

I'm not a big fan of HK 47 but I'll certainly buy a figure of it. I'll buy the HK 50, maybe more than one as they can be army builders. I'll even buy the 51 if they make them. I never played The Old Republic game due to my general avoidance of MMOs but there are certain ones I would get. I feel like these three in particular would make great action figures if done well:

I want Shae Vizla to have alternate helmet and unhelmeted headsculpts none of that giant removeable helmet crap.

Malgus, Satile Shan, and Shae Vizla are all must haves for me. And I've been saying the same thing about Shae's helmet for a while. That's what they did with the old TVC from years ago, and it seems to work great. They still put swappable helmeted heads and unhelmeted heads in TVC figures. I don't know why they won't for The Black Series. Seriously, take a cue from Marvel Legends, GI Joe Classified, and the smaller scale line, and get your $#!& together. Are there completely different teams of people working on TBS and TVC or what? Because that would explain a lot.

Despite their flaws and even the line not being perfect I still put the Marvel Legends team above any of the Hasbro teams. They seem to know what they are doing and for the most part are willing to learn from past mistakes. They also seem to be knowledgeable on the source material. The Star Wars Black Series team will come up with something great every once in a while but for the most part seem to be phoning it in lately.

Aside from the Legends team inexplicably putting out a caucasian headsculpt for an Indian character as an afterthought and seemingly refusing to revisit that character, I agree with you.
