Round 2, LLC. Announces lineup of Star Wars model kits to launch in 2021
Releases will include updated classic kits along with the model kits featuring the starship inspired by The
Mandalorian


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
South Bend, IN 6/10/2021 — Round 2, LLC. owners of AMT and MPC model kit brands, has announced that they are adding a selection of Star Wars; model kits to their line of licensed sci-fi models that will arrive at retail starting in August 2021. The selection of models will include re-issues from the AMT & MPC tooling bank that will showcase the same attention to detail and improvements modelers have come to expect from Round 2, including vintage reproduction packaging, expanded decal sheets, improved part fit and updated details.

The most notable addition to the line is an entirely model new kit in 1:72 scale of the Razor Crest starship from the popular Lucasfilm series

The Mandalorian, streaming on Disney+. This glue-together kit will feature authentic elements including optional landing gear, open or closed entry cargo ramps, and a detailed cockpit featuring both the
Mandalorian and Grogu, aka “the Child.” The kit will be available in December 2021.

2021 reissues will include:

• Snap-together X-wing model kit with expanded decal sheet and sticker option included – August 2021

• Snap-together B-wing model kit with expanded decal sheet and sticker option included – August 2021

• Glue-together AT-AT model kit with expanded leg articulation and includes laser canons and snowspeeders – September

• Boba Fett’s Starship model kit with opening panels and a pilot figure of Boba Fett and Han Solo frozen in carbonite – October

• Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter model kit with updated top and bottom hatch details and new Darth Vader pilot
figure – November

• The Millennium Falcon model kit with updated shorter side walls, engine grill detail and all-new radar dish – November
