Today I take a look at the new Masters Of The Universe Masterverse Revelation Deluxe Skelegod figure from Mattel. This figure has started to hit Target stores across the US and will cost $29.99. The DPCI# is 087-16-4536. This figure along with the other Masterverse figures will start hitting other retailers and etailers by August of this year. The other items include Battle Cat which will cost $39.99 and should be hitting Targets soon. The DPCI # for that one is 087-16-7468. The regular figures will include He-Man, Skeletor, Moss Man and Evil Lyn. Those should cost between $20 and $25 each that the Target DPCI# for them is 087-16-7306. Thanks to TNI reader Josh for finding that last one for me. No word yet on when the regular figures will start hitting Target, but I suspect by early to mid July.

This video made me realize how much I miss JC reviews especially on DC Collectible figures that weren’t that popular at the time so jc channel was only place to get them. That is pretty impressive figure by Mattel standards really shows how much they improved compared to DC Multiverse line, or maybe they just trying really hard for MOTU franchise since it’s their own baby. Head on the figure does seem too small but this is how they all look like so really cannot complain here, and hopefully this figure isn’t too spoilery and  the actual  revelation isn’t that he man turns into bad guy instead of skeletor.

I was really hoping to find the He-Man figure today but at least I found the DPCI. The Mattel website says that 6/15 is the roll out date for these. It would be nice if they had info as to where.

I passed on Skelegod this morning as I mostly just want He-Man. Hopefully he’s not impossible to find if he turns out to be awesome in the show and I change my mind.

Thanks for the shout out JayC!

I think its funny Battle Cat will likely hit shelves before He-Man does :)

Thanks. I miss doing them...sometimes :)  I'd do more reviews but it's just that by the time I usually get my hands on something there isn't much point or need to review it. Everyone either already has it or they've watched 50 other reviews about it already.

Nice looking figure, I always liked the color scheme on this figure. Something looks off with the neck though. Besides the small head it looks like his head is just floating on top of his neck. Maybe he's supposed  look like that though.

Its a shame the heads are all too small on these figures. I might have bought them for my classics collection. The body sculpts look great but those heads are waaaay too tiny.
