Shown below is a look at this years Power-Con Masters of the Universe Origins exclusive figures from Mattel. This year will see the release of three different sets which are as follows:

MOTU Origins: Horde Multi-Pack
$150.00 each plus S/H
Nothing can stop the Evil Horde, and that goes for their awesome figure variants. This MOTU Origins 4-Pack will contain blue-skinned Hordak, dark Grizzlor, a crimson Horde Trooper, and a shadow Horde Trooper.

MOTU Origins: Faker 2-Pack
$60.00 each plus S/H
What’s better than a MOTU Origins Faker that comes with an orange cingulum militare and Havoc Staff? How about a beast his can call his own? That’s exactly what you get with this 2-Pack of “Leo” Faker and Dupli-Cat, his robotic feline mount.

MOTU Origins: “Secrets of Grayskull” Accessory Pack
$30.00 each plus S/H
Now that fans have the outstanding Origins Castle Grayskull available for their collection, Mattel expands upon it to make it even better! This pack comes with the castle’s humanoid robot, a 3D dungeon grate that includes a tentacle, and the Spirit of Castle Grayskull. These accessories are a must-have to complete your Grayskull display.

Pre-orders begin next Saturday, May 15th for these. Details will be posted very soon about the pre-sale on the Power-Con website. The event will be taking place this year on September 11 & 12 in Anaheim, California.

It's not known if any of these figures will be re-released later on in the regular Masters of the Universe Origins line by Mattel, but it is worth noting that last year's Lords Of Power-Con MOTU Origins 5-Pack are starting to see re-releases on individual cardbacks in the regular line now. Mer-Man
is being released in wave 6 and Beastman in wave 5.

I am curious as to what the slot on the grate of the dungeon set is for . I don't recall greyskull being raised .. looks like the trap door has a hinge too. I do want that Horde set it looks like the troopers will retain the spring blast apart gimmick too. so at least we'll know what the grey trooper will look like .

If you look at the photos of the Grayskull playset, there's a recess in the mold for the grate...which kinda pisses me off the only way you'll be able to "complete" your expensive playset is with an exclusive item that'll most likely be hard to get. So, if you were lucky enough to nab a Grayskull at $75, and you can get the exclusive at MSRP, you'll still be spending over a hundo. I dunno, man, collecting has become an expensive exercise in frustration. I do believe this is where I get off.

I don't think $75 for a playset today is that bad man... Just look at how much the Thundertank is...

Depends on how you look at it, I suppose. In the case of Grayskull, it's essentially just a plastic clamshell without many features, electronics or complexity. I think $75 is way overpriced for that.

I really want the Grayskull accessory pack, hopefully it's not going to be a big pain to get. I do hope enough is made to meet demand. Maybe BBTS will have these up for pre-order.

I think is not that bad because of the line we are talking about... How much was that look a like Batman Batcave Castle from that Primal DC line?

They always have those exclusive Power Con sets but the price will probable be double of the price market...

They already had their preorder and it sold out in minutes as did the Power-Con preorder. They also aren't going to make anymore. Expect to pay upwards of $600 - $1,000 on eBay if you want all three.

After two years of no conventions I’m really looking forward to Power-Con and hoping things don’t take a turn to where it needs to be cancelled again.

I’m mostly a loose collector but when it comes to convention items I like to always keep one in package.  They just often make a neat display and this years power con items are no exception.  The catch is packaged items take up more space and it’s getting harder and harder to find room.  Come Power-Con I’m going to need to drastically re organize my MOTU display cases again
