People... I'm getting members complaining about other members and content that is being said about members.  I know it's in everyone's nature to say something good or bad about someone.  I'm even guilty as charged but can we keep the comments about the  toys and not each other, OK.

But Jeff Goldblum is objectively taller than Chris Hemsworth, so i don't see the two being the same height as a problem.  I do think the lack of digital faceprinting for the Jurassic line does make it hard to put them alongside mcu figures even if you pose creatively to mask any height/scale issues, though, especially if you are doing closeup pics. But its not like these figures are not recognizably the Jurassic Park characters they are supposed to represent or anything.

I only have Ray Arnold, and he seems to scale pretty well with my comic ML figures given that Jackson is 6'2", his head seems slightly larger than ML heads but i think Jackson just has a big head.   he does look too big next to say mcu Captain America.  But i mainly got him

  1. to use as a generic scientist alongside Moira McTaggert's generic female scientist
  2. because i like the 1:12 scale old-school computer (wish it came with a mouse though!)
  3. because the severed arm accessory is hilarious

So given that i don't plan on using him in mcu displays, he will work nicely with my ML collection.

Huh! I googled and you're totally right! Complain completely erased!! I agree about the faceprinting, but since there are some older MCU that don't have the faceprinting either I'm not terribly picky about that either. I got Arnold for the old school computer too!!! And the arm, because it looks brutal. I thought the same thing about the mouse when I opened it. And he's around the same size as the Windu and Fury so they don't look out of place... other than they're triplets.

who said theyre 1:12? each human is 6.5". thats bigger than 1:12 scale. true 1:12 scale means that one inch equals one foot. the amber collection made each human the same size and scales the dinos to that. mattel has always called the line 6.5" scale for that reason.

I tried looking for a source that stated that... do you have a link that I could check?

The Mattel Shop states that every figure is approximately 6in/15.24cm, including the dinosaurs... which they aren't. I'm guessing they mean it's because they're in 6" scale (1:12) and are approximately that size.

I wouldn't put it above any toy company to give confusing or wrong information.

I'm convinced the likenesses are "off" on purpose. Like a toy-etic choice. The WWE figures they produce have incredible likenesses for the most part. Maybe they thought it would be more appealing to a wider audience if they looked more like toys than the real thing. Not sure I agree with that ideology but maybe. The more releases we get the more I just say okay. *Me trying to absolve myself of the extreme disappointment with the Nedry likeness*

IT'S THE JURASSIC TOYS WE'VE ALWAYS WANTED! I"M SO TORN!

Cool pics, but those aren't Mattel saying the line is 6.5" like you said, and I quote "mattel has always called the line 6.5" scale for that reason", it's you proving that they're that size. The one place Mattel does say anything is in their shop, and in the shop they're sold as 6in.  Just measured my Nedry, he's 6.2". The scale is all over the place, and it's ok, I don't really mind, I love these toys even if they could be better. Just stop claiming Mattel said something if you don't have the source to back it up.

that velociraptor, holy damn that actually looks intimidating and awesome, this might be one for my most wanted to search for, ah but somehow the red is nostalgic, weird comment i know but it reminds me of the time i had one of Hasbro's JP3 Velociraptor toys, the one that couldn't stand well, i had that one but in the end it was stolen by two girls one day and i never could had gotten it back, truly sucky moment right?

According to bbts these are part of a 6 inch scale toy line of dinosaur and characters.  Hope that helps.

We showed you the images for the upcoming Mattel Jurassic Park 6" Amber Collection Dr. Alan Grant And JP III Velociraptor figures last week, and now they will be going up for pre-order on Target's website as part of their recent Collector Event. Look for the pre-orders to go live around 9am ET. Target is listing these as their exclusives.

Here is a behind-the-scenes video for the making of the figures.

Man they still are having trouble with those faces as of recent, I don't see a ton of Sam Neil in that Allen Grant figure, he also looks way older then Sam Neil was in 1993, not sure why they can get faces like Jeff Goldblum pretty right, but like Ellie and Allen look pretty off.

Hate that target posted that they'd be up for preview at 9 am ct and up for order at 3 pm ct and they went up for sale in the morning and were sold out. I'm sure I'll get them eventually, but just kind of annoying.
