Mortal Kombat Movie Delayed 1 Week

Warner Bros. today announced they are delaying the release of their new Mortal Kombat movie by 1 week. The video game based film is coming out on April 23 instead if April 16. It should see a simultaneous release at theaters and on HBO Max.

Seriously ??? Mk was the first movie I seen in a theater with my mom its full circle for me to stream the new one with her now I was looking forward to 4/16

Well thats peculiar, I thought it was already going to coincide the movie release. If it wasnt, thats already odd as it is.. I dont think i ve really ever seen a movie randomly be delayed a week out of nowhere otherwise. Still looking forward to it, but trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Agree....From the headline it felt like the Black Widow movie delayed for months...glad it is only 1 week

Mortal Kombat was only delayed for a week because Warner Bros. had a good opening with Goddzilla vs Kong in the theaters and they want to ride out the hype wave and not have Mortal Kombat take it all away.  Both movies are from Warner Bros.
