Ok I saw there are individual prices for each piece.I like that. More inclined to make a purchase.

I do hope thats what the final price for these are here in the US, but keep in mind the only indication so far we have seen in price comes from overseas listings.

Wouldn't say I'm too crazy about these figures but the fact that we are getting 6 inch DC figure from McFarlane is promising for me, considering that McFarlane was doing pretty good with Call of Duty 6 inch lines in terms of sculpt and articulation, I think theres enough people out there who would be interesting in 6 inch DC universe line with more basic designs that could compete with Marvel Legends, while 7 inch line can do more comic book artist inspired and other specific looks.

For my personal collection, I'm okay with the Dyanamic Duo, Batmobile, and Riddler(Classic Spandex style) from Mattel.  Though if they do Batgirl, and Batgirl's Cycle(Regardless if it's on it's own or in a 2 pack), will strongly consider getting them if they look really good.  Though I hope they don't put her in exclusive or anything like that(Maybe a Unmasked as an Exclusive, but not the regular version).  If they added in a Batgirl Lair as well, will consider it too.  If they do Batman's suit in a light blue colour similar to how it appeared in the show sometimes or in promotional shots, I will want to get that as well.

My brother might consider the McFarlane Batmobile to go with his figures(He got the TRU Exclusive Terrific Trio Pack).

Will have to see more pics of the Batcave and the price of it before I consider that set.

But all around, looks nice so far.

I was wondering though, has McFarlane Toys improved on their quality of plastic and what not since they got the DC License?  I know that in the past, their toys quality wasn't 100% good, in that figure's joints could snap, especially those that had multiple joints(Such as their Walking Dead and Halo figures).

This past weekend we got our first look at the upcoming new line of 6" Retro Batman 66 TV Series products coming from McFarlane Toys. Shown was the 6" Batman, Robin and Joker figures as well as a look at the Batmobile vehicle and Batcave playset. Well now thanks to a listing found in the Target system we can see that it looks like the 6" Batmobile vehicle will cost $29.99. The DPCI# is 323-01-3615. That is the only Retro item currently listed in the system at this time. We do believe this item will be a general release.

While we didn't see any listings for the other items, the price of the Batmobile is in line with prices we saw from overseas retailers back in February which breaks down as follows:

-Batman 66 - Batmobile ₱1,795.00 = $37US
-Batman 66 - Batcave Playset ₱1,795.00 = $37US
-Batman 66 - Batman ₱1,100.00 = $22US
-Batman 66 - Robin ₱1,100.00 = $22US
-Batman 66 - Joker ₱1,100.00 = $22US

If this holds true with everything then we can surmise the Batcave playset will also cost $30 and the figures will cost $20 each. Even though the current image doesn't give us a super detailed look at the Batmobile and Batcave, $30 for each from what we can see here looks fairly reasonable. Lets hope that remains true once we see more. Still no word yet on when these will see release or when they might go up for pre-order.

Based on the prices, I would wait and see what they are before getting excited. While the overseas prices might not exactly reflect what the cost will be in the US, the Batmobile and Batcave aren't even doubt the price of the figures.

I thought the same thing. That's pretty low. The Mattel bat mobile was more than that if I remember right.

McFarland is known for his approach to deliver more plastic at lower cost... Check any of his interview.😀

Also True, haha. But isn't the bat/hell cycle around that price?

These seem cool for those who want this type of thing, I'm not a big fan of this whole show, I find it to be too whimsical and goofy, even as a kid I quickly got out of it. I do think it's cool to see things like the Batcave , I wouldnt buy any of these in less we got Catwoman or Batgirl but it is good to see these are 6'' rather then 7.

Ahead of this weekend's Summer Showcase online event where McFarlane Toys will be officially revealing upcoming new products, Todd McFarlane posted this teaser image on his Instagram giving us our best full look to date for the upcoming McFarlane Toys Retro 66 Batman TV Series 6" Scale Batmobile And Batcave.

We had previously seen the close-up preview image McFarlane Toys released the other week for these, but this new image shows Todd holding up the Batmbile and on the back of the table we can see the full size of the Batcave. The image also gives us our first real look at the figure cardbacks and packaging for the line.

Both the Batcave and Batmobile are expected to cost around $30 each. While the Batcave doesn't appear to extend much beyond the Bat-Computer area as we saw in the initial preview image, for only $30 I would say it looks pretty good. Look for this new 66 Batman TV series line to be one of the highlights for this weekend's Showcase event where we will get full looks at everything shown here.

Whimsical?? Goofy? Maybe. Tongue in cheek? Definitely. That was what they were going for and why it was popular and successful.

This is the very set I wanted back in the day when the reruns were on at 4pm in the afternoon.

Todd did a much better job on this than Mattel did. The price points make this a no brainer even if the fluctuate upwards a little. Heck, even if you paid for that overpriced dis-proportioned nothing-but-a-hunk-plastic Mattel Batmobile, you are definitely going to get this one.

I think several of you have been jaded in accepting higher prices for crap. I personally think the prices on these items are where they should be all along and would not bring them into question. Dont look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially if you paid 80 bucks on Mattel batmobile with doors that dont even open.

With all that this set has going for it and the memories that it will bring back, I still think the capes suck. Can always find something at the fabric store to replace them, though.

Batcave looks fun, especially if they can nail that $30 price point. Would be great for some of my other displays.

The figures don't look that good to me. Not terrible, but not great even at $15. Might change my mind seeing them in person, though.

As much as I love the 66 show, I think it's hard to capture in toy form. If you go too literal, things end up looking gangly and wonky like Mattel, but if you try to beef things up like McFarlane has here, it still doesn't look right. I think it needs to be reinterpreted on some level, but finding that sweet spot is difficult. I actually really liked the Funko 3 inch line, as it seemed to do that well... But we never got that darn second wave with the main villains. Blah.

I just hope the line will be easily available, I'm a bit worried about the distribution so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'll be happy if I can just get Batman, Robin and the Batmobile alone without any hassle.

Has any of McFarlane's stuff been hard to find? I don't buy any of his DC stuff cause it's all weird "comic vampire hunter ventriloquist Batman" or whatever, but I see it everywhere. Outside of maybe some oddball variants, it certainly seems like distribution has been good.

That's the problem, it's the non-comic vampire hunter ventriloquist Batman stuff that's hard to find. Sure, you occasionally see a Flash, or an Armored Wonder Woman that hang around for weeks, usually because these things don't seem to move that well around here, but even those are few and far between.

I think if Big Mac would just flip the script and make the recognizable "vanilla" versions of the DC characters his focus, and withhold the "freaky" stuff for special occasions, deluxe releases, etc. he'd really have something going.

I really hope I'm wrong but aside from the lack of Flashpoint Batman and the Grim Knight, at least the distribution of McFarlane is good compared to other toy lines as of this time.
