The untitled "The Boys" spinoff from Amazon have cast Lizze Broadway and Jaz Sinclair to the ensemble cast.

Broadway will play the role of Emma, a young superhero amd Sinclair will play Marie, another of the young superheroes.

The untitled project was first announced as being in development in September. Set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and run by Vought International), the untitled series is described as an irreverent, R-rated show that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.

The spinoff will be produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios. Craig Rosenberg will serve as the showrunner and executive producer under his overall deal with Sony. He is currently a writer and executive producer on "The Boys." "The Boys" creator Eric Kripke will also executive produce via Kripke Enterprises along with "The Boys" executive producers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver of Point Grey Pictures, Original Film’s Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, and Darick Robertson. Ennis and Robertson created the comic book on which "The Boys" is based. Sarah Carbiener, Erica Rosbe, Aisha Porter-Christie, Judalina Neira, Zak Schwartz are co-executive producers.

Broadway has TV credits including "The Rookie," "Bones," "Southland," "Splitting Up Together," and "Here and Now."

Sinclair has TV credit including "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" at Netflix. Her credits prior to that include "Rizzoli & Isles," "Easy," and "The Vampire Diaries."

I have no problems with this on paper, if it's anything as good as The Boys, count me in, I don't care about the premise, I just have faith that it will be good if it is as wonderfully written and produced as the boys.

Deadline is reporting that Brockmire alumna Reina Hardesty has joined the cast as a lead character in Amazon’s college-set spinoff of The Boys.

The untitled series includes Hardesty and previously cast of Shane Paul McGhie, Aimee Carrero, Maddie Phillips, Jaz Sinclair and Lizze Broadway.

Written by The Boys executive producer Craig Rosenberg, the Spinoff is set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and run by Vought International). It is described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of The Boys.

Hardesty recently starred as Brockmire’s daughter in the final season of IFC’s acclaimed series Brockmire and has recurred on The CW’s The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
