Recommended Posts

These would definitely make for some fun army builders. Its been since its release that I saw the film so alot of it is hazy and barely recall these guys at all but they look amazing.

Right? The timeline of 7" figures for this movie has been frustrating to say the least
Sota Toys - 2005 Nightmare demon RELEASED
Sota Toys - 2007 Kessler wolf and mauled Jack shown then CANCELLED
PCS - 2016 David, Jack, and Wolf shown then CANCELLED
NECA - 2021 Kessler wolf (and others) COMING SOON 😮😯😲

I thought the Sota figs actually came out. It wasnt a line I wanted but loved sotas street fighter stuff and some of their stuff intrigued me outside of that line. The cthulhu and werewolf stuff in particular. Crazy that that stuff never came out. I didnt know PCS did it too, they were what SOTA became after sota dissolved, so its interesting they went for a second run to not do it again.

I bet my right arm that won't come with any kind of Nazi symbols at all out of respect for what it represents.

Which would be a bad idea if they do.

It's not like they wore armbands, patches, and badges and stuff in the movie.

I think I liked the gums and eyes on the prototype (?) images from earlier. The gummy jaws aren't inaccurate, but this figure looks a bit googley-eyed. And whoever put this guy in that weird ass position, well I can only assume that person was drunk.

Less excited now.

Loved the movie back in the day. Scared the crap out of me. But never thought, "gee I wish they made action figures from this movie." But after NECA put out Richard Simmons, I guess we should not be surprised about anything.

I am amazed at how NECA  seemingly puts out figures of anything he wants regardless of demand or interest. It used to be that a toy manufacturer would need to show their prototypes to retailers and then get enough unit orders to justify a profitable production run. Perhaps his production run number needs are very low?  Anyway, hats off to him that he can do stuff like this and those who are fans of this 40 something year old movie now have something to collect.

If he wants my money for old school licences, please give me original BSG, Lost in Space or Logans Run.

Yay, figures from another ancient franchise that you'll find clogging the shelves in every Target on Earth, while your chances of finding Animated Turtle figures are just shy of Charlie's chances of finding the golden ticket.

I've preordered the nightmare demons at BBTs and I'm salivating to order the Kessler wolf. Neca is killing it with its horror franchises right now.  Hamner figures please.

Stay off the moors.

NECA's newest figure from An American Werewolf in London is an action figure first! The classic 1981 movie is the perfect blend of comedy and true horror, and follows two American backpackers and their increasingly terrifying trip across England. Only David Kessler survives the bizarre wolf attack that kills his friend Jack... but then an undead Jack returns to warn David that he will soon transform into a murderous beast.

Never before made as an action figure, Kessler's wolf form is more than 11 inches at its full length and has over 30 points of articulation. Includes interchangeable heads and comes in a collector-friendly window box with opening flap that's great for display. Look for it to ship in November.

Back in May, we posted about NECA releasing the 'Kessler Wolf' from An American Werewolf in London and NECA has now released the packing images for the figure.  The figure is available for pre-order from our sponsor Big Bad Toy Store for only $37.99 with an estimated November 2021 release.
