The Hollywood Reporter announced today that Stana Katic and Matt Bomer are part of an ensemble voice cast for the upcoming Justice Society: World War II animation movie.

Stana Katic will voice Wonder Woman and Matt Bomer will voice The Flash.  The rest of the voice cast includes Elysia Rotaru as Black Canary, Chris Diamantopoulos as Steve Trevor, Omid Abtahi as Hawkman, Matthew Mercer as Hourman, Armen Taylor as Jay Garrick, Liam McIntyre as Aquaman, Ashleigh LaThrop as Iris West, Geoffrey Arend as Charles Halstead/Advisor, Keith Ferguson as Dr. Fate and Darin De Paul as Roosevelt.

Justice Society: World War II is the first of the universe's 42 films to star the team of heroes known as the Justice Society, which in the comics first appeared during the second World War. Katic and Bomer first worked in the DC Universe Movies series together in 2013's Superman: Unbound.

Directing the project is Jeff Wamester, from a script by Meghan Fitzmartin and Jeremy Adams. Jim Krieg, Kimberly S. Moreau,  Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment are producing with Butch Lukic as a supervising producer.

I've always seen Justice Society as the redeeming factor for DC and even to their DC movies. Justice Society members tend to be far more relatable, of course the writing has to be on point and relatable too. This concept is realized in Stargirl-- upbeat, easy to the eyes, almost flawless scriptwriting and the actors and CGI are perfectly matched, well, speaking of Season 1, and hoping for the same in the coming.

I kind of got used to Rosario Dawson.

She didn't start off so great when she took over New 52 Diana from Michelle Monaghan, but she got pretty damn good at voicing her. This is a different universe now, so...Stana Katic. I do assume that any further modern day/rebirth stories with Wonder Woman will feature a different actress entirely, but if they go back to the JSA and WWII, it'll probably be her again.
