Matthew Robinson To Write Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Film For 2023

While not much has been said since Patty Jenkins revealed she is making a Rogue Squadron film, scheduled to be released iDec. 22, 2023, we now have word that Matthew Robinson (“The Invention of Lying”, “Love and Monsters")has been chosen to write it.

It appears there is more than "scheduling conflicts" behind the recent update for Patty Jenkins' Rogue Squadron film. There are reports Jenkins and studio executives, including senior VP Michelle Rejwan, couldn't agree on how to move forward. They also say similar issues have affected the Benioff And Weiss trilogy, as well as the Rian Johnston trilogy.
