Batwoman - Season Two Teaser - 'Powerful'

The CW Network has released a 10-second teaser with Javicia Leslie as the new Batwoman.

In the second season of Batwoman, Javicia Leslie plays the character of Ryan Wilder.  She is described as “relatable, messy, loyal, a little goofy, and apart from being a lesbian, she couldn’t be more different than the woman who wore the Batsuit before her, billionaire Kate Kane. Ryan, who we meet living in her van with only her plant for company, has been made to feel trapped and powerless by the system her whole life, and believes the Batsuit is the key to breaking out of it. But what she’ll come to discover is that it’s not the suit that makes Ryan Wilder powerful, it’s the woman inside of it who finds her destiny in changing Gotham City for good.”

The new season premieres on January 17th, 2021

Hopefully it will be better than previous season, and I bet they gonna have Batman introduction coming up if there's next season.

I thought the first one was weird and this has not changed my mind at all. I have been called a nerd for my love of the science fiction genre and super heroes. So I guess this is what they call "Revenge on the Nerds"? Get the hell out of my sandbox weirdo's.

they were going to have Bruce Wayne but then Ruby Rose quit & that was dropped

I think to use a new Batwoman, DC has to start several years from Season 1's timeline and place the continuity of Season 1's Batwoman in a shroud of mystery which the New one has to resolve. They can then retain the same villains however they may have changed after those years when Batwoman was absent from Gotham. If Batwoman is the only heroic player in Gotham (but then she left or died) or the Bat Family's numbers weren't sufficient, then the city must be in deep chaos, hence, prompting a renewed interest in vigilantism.

So basically the broke people. Great tactic. About as good as Starbucks appealing to the young college crowd who has little to no cash and only use their stores to drink free coffee and use the free WiFi to work on their screenplays. I agree with you on who they are aiming these shows towards. I just don't understand how they think it's a financially sound game plan.
