Is Hasbro's Overwatch Line Dead?

Recommended Posts

It seems like Hasbro got Overwatch license released some  figures and quickly stopped without even releasing fan favorite and Important characters such as Widowmaker or Symmetra. What happened ? Did Hasbro lose license? Were sales super bad? I really enjoyed Mercy Pharah two pack it was really well done set, I would kill to get above mentioned Symmetra and Widowmaker with same treatment.

Yeh, such a shame, even though I'm not much of a big Overwatch fan i do like Reaper a lot and it's just unfortunate we only got his Blackwatch outfit but not his default look which i would had love to get really badly.

Hard to say what happened with Overwatch. The game's always been out shined by Fortnite, who had a similarly scaled line for half the price, maybe they just pushed Overwatch out of the aisle. Then again, I'm pretty sure just about all the Overwatch figures were 100 % new tooling, or pretty dang close to it, maybe the line just had to high an overhead to live.

In any case, I loved it, but it had two glaring omissions: 1) No mech for D.Va. 2) No Winston. Come on, a talking ape in battle armor . . . and you didn't make it!?! Big mistake Hasbro.
