Since Boba Fett doesn't actually use his flame thrower in Return of the Jedi, it would have been much more appropriate to include a couple of fiery jets for his pack. I shouldn't have to borrow from a gray Black Widow or the upcoming "classic" Doctor Doom when Hasbro should do it for me.

I preordered the Boba Fett and Incinerator Trooper on BBTS. The flame effect from Boba Fett is going to Mando. I would have preferred Boba came with the grappling cord or a laser blast effect that could attach to the gauntlet like the ones used with recent Marvel Legends guns.

He does come with the grappling cord.  It's in one of the promo photos.  You can see it up on Big Bad, just not here.

If he came with jet effects for his pack, he'd be frigging perfect for Jedi.  Unfortunately they didn't think all of it through.

Yes, he would have. Considering the Deluxe price tag, Hasbro should have definitely included the some blast effects for the jet pack.

It's pretty weird they went with the flamethrower effect instead, considering we've only seen that from Boba in comics and games.  Is this a Return of the Jedi figure or not?

I think maybe they made the flame thrower effect for future Mando figure and decided to included with this one to justify the price tag.
