New They Live "Frank" 8" Retro Cloth Figure From NECA Announced

Being offered exclusively through Shout Factory is a new NECA 8" cloth retro figure based on the character Frank Armit who was played by Keith David in the John Carpenter They Live movie. The figure will come with two weapon accessories.

You can buy the figure through a couple different bundle options with the movie or just the figure itself for $39.99.

I think the idea is you get it cheaper if you buy it with one of the DVD bundle sets which is what Shout Factory really would prefer you do.

But you don't, really.  The 4k/Blu-Ray pack with poster is $34.99 by itself or $74.99 with the figure (difference of $40).  If you buy the bundle with the figure, the 4K/Blu-Ray, the poster, and the vinyl record, then the figure works out to $35, which is still too much, IMO.

IDK I mean either way I agree, you'd have to be a pretty big They Live fan or fan of the actor to put that much down.

Honestly, the movie is a definitely a favorite of mine, and I am a Keith David fan, but no thank you.  I'll probably get the 4k, but that's all.

$40 is overpriced, but I’m a big fan of the film and Roddy was a personal friend (can’t believe it’s been 5 years) to where I think I’m going to end up getting this.
