Deadline has confirmed that Batman himself, Robert Pattinson has come down with the Covid-19 virus and has caused production of Matt Reeves' The Batman to stop.  Pattinsons sickness comes after the production finally opened for three days after being previously closed for 5 1/2 months.

Well, that sucks. Fortunately, Pattinson is young and in otherwise good health, so he'll probably be fine. Despite the public being regularly inundated with numbers designed by the media to scare the crap out of us, most people who contract Covid-19 suffer only minor symptoms and achieve full recovery. That's why the bloody thing spreads so easily, the vast majority of people who have it don't even feel bad enough to realize they're sick.

That's a bummer, I'm not really looking forward to the movie but it's not good to have production halted on a project. I wish Pattinson a speedy recovery.
