Hasbro Announce Pulse-Con 2020 For September 25-26

Recommended Posts

The Hellfire Club is on the top of my list.   I was expecting it to be priced around $110 given they latest 2 pack sets have been around $50 and the Psylocke, Fantomex and Nimrod was $80.   So, I'm glad to see it was less than $110.

I think the Transformers Quintesson Pit is the coolest. The Star Wars hold no interest to me since I know those figures will be released on single card or like the Wampa I already have.

I also have no interest in the Power Rangers or Ghostbusters sets.

The Logan movie 2-pack holds no interest for me as I was one of the few who wasn't a big fan of that movie.

The Hellfire Club and Cobra Commander are tempting. I already have 2 Cobra Commanders and Sebastian Shaw is the main figure I want in the boxset which I wouldnt be surprised gets re-released down the road. If money was no issue I would def get the TF, Hellfire Club and Cobra Commander though.

That Transformers set is very well put together reminiscent of the scene of the movie...

Hasbro has released their panel schedule for next week's Virtual Pulse-Con which takes place on September 25-26.

The G.I. Joe and Power Rangers panels are listed for September 26 which is Saturday at 10am ET. There is no specific Ghostbusters panel listed, but actor Ernie Hudson is slated to be a guest. Also Ghostbusters is listed for Saturday on the image below Hasbro put out. They also have some panels for Magic The Gathering and D&D on Friday, but those don't appear to be action figure related.

Hasbro G.I. Joe Brand Team

Even more news and reveals are waiting for you during the G.I. Joe event at Hasbro PulseCon! Tune in and be the first to see new items, find out which characters will be launched next, and get a peek inside our development process directly from our team. And if knowing is half the battle, you’re going to want to join in for G.I. Joe trivia and show off your expertise. Plus a special appearance from Henry Golding, star of the upcoming film Snake Eyes. Don’t miss all this plus other fun surprises we’ve got up our sleeves! YO JOE!

Hasbro Power Rangers Brand Team

Join us for the Power Ranger Brand Panel, featuring morphinomenal news and brand announcements across new Power Ranger’s product. Be the first to see new Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures and other products yet to hit shelves, as well as sneak peeks of upcoming items. All of this exciting news will be followed by a Q&A with the design, sculpting, creative, and marketing teams from Hasbro. Go Go Power Rangers!

Power Rangers Entertainment Panel

Panelists: Andre Meadows (@BlackNerd), Power Rangers Beast Morphers Cast

Unleash the Beasts! The cast of Power Rangers Beast Morphers will be reuniting live at PulseCon sharing behind the scenes stories from the set and talking about what life has been like being a Power Ranger! The panel, moderated by Andre Meadows (@BlackNerd), will feature never before seen footage and a live Q&A. If that’s not enough, we’ll be making a historic announcement….or should we say PREHISTORIC! Ranger Nation, if this panel could be summed up in one word, it would be MORPHINOMINAL!

It is not really clear how these panels will be shown. All the panels for Saturday are listed with the same time of 10am, but in a press release Hasbro put out they says this.

Attendees can expect one-of-a-kind access to their favorite franchises during Hasbro PulseCon, and interactive experiences connecting fans with the creative talent that help bring them all to life. Brands including Dungeons & Dragons, G.I. Joe, Magic: The Gathering, Power Rangers, Transformers as well as premiere partner brands Marvel, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and more will be featured in an exhilarating panel and activity lineup that spans two days, giving fans a livestream experience to celebrate with special guests, receive exclusive access to exciting brand reveals, purchase Hasbro PulseCon merch, and participate with interactive elements such as live Q&A, trivia and even virtual ‘ghost hunting’ in celebration of National Ghost Hunting Day! For every viewer of Hasbro PulseCon, Hasbro will donate a toy or game to Toys for Tots up to 100,000 pieces. Through the gift of a new toy, Marine Toys for Tots helps bring hope and joy to America's less fortunate children.

So that suggests some kind of live-stream, but then you would think each panel would have a specific time. Hopefully Hasbro will actually clarify this soon.

One thing I do know is whatever new product is revealed, we will have it covered right here on TNI for you.

The Marvel and Star Wars panels are slated for Friday and coverage for those will take place on our sister sites MarvelousNews.com and JediInsider.com. There are two Transformers related panels that will also take place on Saturday. Our coverage of those will be up at TFormers.com.

There is also the Sneak-Peek that is set to take place on September 22 at 12pm ET and that is definitely taking place on their YouTube channel.

Finally the Hasbro exclusives go up for sale on the HasbroPulse website starting at 12pm ET on Wednesday (Sept 23) for Premium Pulse members and then everyone else will get a shot at them on Thursday (Sept 24) at 12pm ET. The exclusives will be limited to 1 per household.

I'm guessing for Star Wars Black Series we will get images and confirmation on the line up of the rumored wave 27 of which two of the figures have been leaked and they will go up for preorder later that day.

I have some thoughts about the schedule.  Either none of the panels are live and all go up at the same time like with the second day of DC Fandome, or it's one big panel that starts at 11/10 and just goes from there.

I really didn't anticipate they gonna invite so many guests including musicians, I thought they just gonna do the same old format, I guess PR really wants to show off. My main anxiety right now is to get Hellfire boxset, really don't wanna go to secondary market, I hope it's gonna last for some time fingers crossed.

Very nice. If they do something similar with GI Joe... With a panel with the designers of the coming up video game, sunbow GI Joe writers and voice actors... That would be awesome!

Hasbro today is holding a PREVIEW event for this weekend's Pulse-Con virtual convention. We anticipate or at least hope we will get something new revealed for each of their brands (Marvel, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Power Rangers, Ghostbusters and Star Wars) to wet our appetites for later this week.

They start off with HeroQuest. They are bringing back the classic dungeon crawler game that was released back in the 90's by Milton Bradley. This will be funded through Hasbro's Haslab crowdfunding platform. The campaign starts today and needs 1 millions dollars by November 6.

They are offering 2 tiers for you to choose to back the project. The Hero Tier for $99.99 or the Mythic Tier at $149.99.

And apparently that was it.

Wow! , one million, I've heard about board games funded by crowdfunding by more modest companies that don't ask for that amount, but well, they know what they're doing and I'm sure they'll reach that goal without much trouble, I've researched something on the subject and found the game somewhat interesting, though crowdfunding isn't my thing, if they manage to put the game on the market, beyond the Haslab campaign, I could buy it without much thought.

For those prices I hope this new version is much better than the remake.

They're almost at $1 million in less than 24 hours...

Looks like the GIjoe and Power Rangers panels are gonna only be about 30-45 minutes. I assume there will be an intermission between panels. Marvel and Star Wars seem to be having the longest panels. Star Wars with the two panels will be about 1:20 minutes and Marvel looks like is getting about an hour. These of course may vary some depending on how long the intermissions are between panels.
