The idea that this might be shipping by itself is a bit scary.  I can't believe I would have not chosen the option to have this ship in Amazon Packaging, but no one at Amazon can tell me for sure that I made that selection when I placed the order back in July.  I'll find out soon, I guess.  Figures look good, tho, even with limited articulation on Nimrod and that dumb old coat on Fantomex.

Yeah it was crazy when I saw my friend's  picture with the shipping label on the back of it.  He's a MOC collector so it really didn't go over well with him.

So now I gotta ask when did you pre-order yours, and do you remember selecting the Amazon packaging option?

Nope I didn’t. Another friend of mine also received his in the shipper. I think the majority of folks will, but possibly out of that one specific facility in SoCal maybe they removed them.

Weird.  I seem to remember making the selection, but it could just be that's because I stared at that stuff for like an hour talking to Amazon last night.  Are the figures in the package your buddy received otherwise okay?  Is the packaging the only thing that's messed up?

Yeah just the package that was messed up, but for him that’s how he collects. If I got mine that way I wouldn’t be happy, but the box is getting thrown away anyway

Got mine today.  Came in a big cardboard Amazon box with plenty of air cushions.  I haven't opened the package yet, but the figures look great.  Even Fantomex.

I kind of want Nimrod but I'm good with the Psylocke from the Apocalypse wave and I don't want this one. I also never really cared for Fantomex. It's a good set but it's not for me, maybe Hasbro will release the Nimrod by itself some time later.

I'm amending what I said.  I took a second look at these today, and Fantomex's bubble has curved depressions for the arms.  The poor factory workers don't know well enough nor do they probably have the time to bend the figure's elbows and turn the arms at the shoulders just so, and so the figure has these atrocious lateral bends at the elbows that will be damn near impossible to fix.  Looks like one of the arms on MCUcollector24's figure managed to escape this fate, while the other did not.  Both of mine are messed up. I really wish Hasbro would stop doing $#!& like this and pack figures waiting for the bus style.

I love the idea of finally getting Nimrod, sculpt is great but articulation is only half-baked, they really could engineer it in a  better way, I think people wouldn't complain to some sculpt changes if it provided better range of motion, Nimrod is drawn differently by each artist anyway, Psylocke and Fantomex sadly don't do that much for me, Psylocke is serviceable repaint while Fantomex is serviceable update.
