There's already listings for these on ebay for $70.  Sometimes, this hobby is just stupid.

Anyone even considering buying these things for any price like $70.00 is not only a moron, but is nothing more than a slave to the scalpers.

Both are in-stock on Amazon too. No Red Ninja.

they are up for pre-order, they've been up for pre-order at most places since the day they were announced. Wave 2 is not hard to get, you may need to be a little patient but if you want them you should be able to get them at cost.

I'll heading to my local Targets on Friday, August 14th to see if there's anything on the pegs or perhaps behind the electronics counter.   I'm hopeful, but I'd expect only to find Roadblock, if anything.

Admittedly, I had the case of FOMO when people on social media were finding and buying them in Target stores.   But, I've been able to come to peace that I may not be able to get these figures right off the bat or at all for that manner.   If I find them in store, I'll be happy and pick up.   But I'm not going to stress about them.

I knew from the start of the Classified line that I would not be a completist, much like Star Wars Black Series.

Hit  my local Tarjay tonight & found a wave 2 Roadblock hanging on the pegs by his lonesome. So now have both versions of him which I'm converting into generic biker gang members of the Dogs of hell members. Just need Gung Ho now as well. Then the hunt for the elusive Ninjas.

I checked my local Target this morning.  Nothing.   Not even pegs or shelf space set aside for these figures, which is a little disconcerting knowing they've been telling customers the street date is August 14.

I wonder if Target will feature these figures in like a Sunday ad or something.

I dont see much chance of her being at stores this week. Now whether you will actually be able to buy her tomorrow online where it will ship out immediately remains to be seen, not that it matters cause if she is available I am sure she wont last more than seconds. Another question is when tomorrow they will be available.

Yeah, I don't see much chance of seeing Baroness in stores either.  But that's the problem for me, a chance.  A slim as it may be, even the chance is about 0.0001% of finding any of the Cobra Island figures in Target is enough motivation to get me to the store tomorrow or sometime this weekend.

After that, I just rely on Popfindr and/or Brickseek at to when to head to the store.

And I don't think I'll a chance to get them online. They'll probably go up for online sale around 2am my time, which is Pacific.  Oh well, that's just the way the cookie crumbs.

There's always something else to collect.

My one hope is that maybe now that some people have found them in stores and now that many who were willing to pay scalper prices already have and thus the demand for scalper to up their inventory has been decreased this might mean there is more of a chance of getting them online tomorrow.  That’s my hope.

For the past several years there have been many many brands and lines in which I’ve aimed to be a completist but in the past year or two as that’s become more difficult and expensive due to more and more retailer exclusives I’ve found myself deciding a lot of these lines just aren’t worth it any more.  GI Joe, however, is my one exception so I need to get all of these or else eventually I reluctantly will eventually turn to the scalpers (but not for a long while as I’m willing to play the long game of trying to get them at a fair price).

Not a good sign.

Last week I was in Target and one of the clerks looked for the new series; they didn't have them but he did tell me they were going to stock them and even showed me the section they'd be displayed in. Frankly I thought he was full of it but thanked him for his efforts. Sure enough, Sunday I went in, not expecting to see anything, but shelf space was cleared for them and they even had tags with the codenames set up. Ok! Sounds great. Looks like theyre not messin around.

Went in today, again, not expecting but still curious.....is it possible somebody just stocked early for tomorrow.

The shelf was full of other items. Tags gone, no pegs, no codenames, no nothing....I checked every row. Because every now and then some b@$tard decides to stock part of a line on some aisle apart from the others.  But no go. Nothing. Zilch. And the online Target now says "Out of stock in stores near you", "Not sold at these stores " and then the kicker...."This item isn't eligible for shipping". So no online option either.

I have no reason to think tomorrow they'll just appear.

It would appear that the Beach Head and Roadblock are available online, but some people are have trouble adding Beach Head to their cart.   Cobra Trooper appears to be sold out and Baroness may not have been available yet.

Baroness wasn't available, and likely won't be for a while, since it says "this item is not eligible for shipping." I don't know if they used bots or just got lucky or what, but all of the folks who managed to score preorders for Baroness in the last several weeks have apparently now had their order status changed to "backordered."  When Target ever actually gets its online stock, then maybe she'll go up online.

I havent seen any indication anyone was able to get Baroness. I does now say out of stock as opposed to pre-order out of stock but IDK. As I type this Roadblock is available but none of the others.

As far as I can tell Baroness was never available. Can't say I am surprised, seems like she has just been flat out delayed but amazing to me no one like Hasbro bothered to inform people as such at any point during this.

I'm thinking that Baroness was never offered up for sale online besides the pre-order even though she's being listed "out of stock," which puts my mind at ease that I did not miss out her.

I saw a Target store had 1 Cobra Trooper in stock and available for order and pick but that Target store was 4 hours away.   I did think about driving that far, because of FOMO but I came to my senses.   Perhaps if there were two available, I might have made the drive as it would have gave me something to do outside of the house as mostly everything has been shut down in my area because of the pandemic.

I'm hoping the general release of the Cobra Trooper, because there will be a general release, the face masks are red instead of black. I'm not worried about getting my hands on some version of the Cobra Trooper as I pretty sure Hasbro will churn them out like the Black Series Stromtroopers.

There are two people on another board who were able to preorder Baroness when the figure went up for preorder either on the 22nd or (more likely) when it went up again by surprise VERY early morning on the 1st.  Like I said, I don't know if they used bots or just managed to sneak through all that, but either way, they're saying their orders are in "backorder" status now.  Baroness was not at all available online this morning, 12, 1, whatever.

I dont think it was available today. Indications are the figure is delayed.

All I can say is the level of incompetency on display is staggering. How long has this series been announced? How much time and money were put into advertising this sale? And now, today, they're just figuring out that the Baroness figure has been delayed?? How is it possible this is just being discovered?

Between Hasbro & Target, two major companies that have entered this collaboration, plus the fact that's its 2020 and not 1950, not to mention the overall poor record of these "exclusives" sales, there's just no excuse for this stupidity. Yeah maybe this'll get ironed out...eventually....but I'm not even sure I'm gonna spend my money with these fools now.
