Early in the year when I interviewed Todd McFarlane, he indicated that The Witcher video game license was one his company was pursing for his action figure company McFarlane Toys. Well now thanks to some new listings that have shown up from an overseas etailer, it looks like he was successful in getting it.

The website Sukipan.com is listing 4 different action figures. Two 7" figures, one of The WItcher and one of Eredin Bréacc Glas. There is also a 12" version of the Witcher listed and some type of Walmart exclusive. There is no reference image for the Walmart one, but it is listed as a 7" figure. I don't know how it will differ from the other 7" one.

According to the etailer, the figures will be out in October of this year. Of course until McFarlane officially announces these, we will treat this as a rumor at this time.

McFarlane can pull it off but it maybe too little, too late... The last Witcher game came out 5 years ago and the Netflix series isn't a series that I believe parents are letting their kids watch.  It still won't stop me from picking them up if they are decent enough...

My dream was for NECA to make these but with Mcfarlane's recent improvements to articulation...YES!!! TAKE MY MONEY!

I hope this is true and they have the rights to both the games and the netflix show cause I want me a Henry Cavill Geralt figure

I'm pretty sure its true, now whether the license allows them to do stuff from the Netflix series or what kind of likeness rights with Henry Cavill might be involved, IDK. My guess would be this is just gonna be VG based.

I hope this is true that licensing is right up his alley... also if he gets that license does that mean he would get the licensing for monster hunter because if so I feel like todd would do amazing with it.

McFarlane Toys today officially announced they have acquired the license for The Witcher video game. Specifically for The Witcher: Wild Hunt.

I want Geralt and Triss. Just those 2 would make me happy. Anyone else would extra. If they decide to make some of the bad guys and monsters though, then I want the Ladies of the Wood.

Mcfarlane seems to be getting better with their articulation. Let's hope they really knock it out with this series. Witcher is one of my favorite series. Honestly, I'm glad Mcfarlane got the license over NECA, at least they know how to ship out a product without delaying it and sassing their own customers -- (NECA's twitter is infamous for blocking people who argue with them).

Im hearing rumors they might be slipping in a Mandarin Spawn figure into this line as well.

Well if this is the case, then I am going to be for sure buying at least 1 figure in this line, I don't care much for the Witcher but I do care for the monsters would love to get Striga, Bloedzeiger, Bruxa, Dagon, Werewolf, Alp, Armored Hound, Cemetaur... I could go on the monsters in these games are amazing.. And I'd have a hard time not buying all of them, but with all that being said.. if it's just going to be Witcher III, then at least Morkvarg first wave..lets' go

I'm going to buy pretty much EVERY figure that comes out of the Witcher license: Geralt, Yen, Triss, Shani, Bruxa, Datlaff, Eredin, Imlerith, Saskia, Iorveth, Vess, etc.  Getting all of em is probably a stretch but I'm sure they'll push out the major characters,

One of the most critically acclaimed and popular video game franchises has linked up with one of the most innovative and creative action figure manufacturers. In a partnership with CD PROJEKT RED, McFarlane Toys is excited to announce the addition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt action figure into their Fall 2020 lineup with the reveal of witcher Geralt of Rivia. A master of the sword, adept at combat magic, and with finely-honed witcher senses, Geralt was forged at the elite School of the Wolf and is considered one of the deadliest witchers ever trained.

The Geralt of Rivia 12-inch figure will be featured wearing his signature Kaer Morhen armor and will include Geralt’s silver and steel swords with sheaths, monster head trophies, and The Witcher branded base.

Video games produce some of the most amazing visuals you’ll ever see, and The Witcher is a huge part of that,” said Todd McFarlane, Creative Force and CEO of McFarlane Toys. “With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we’re now able to take these characters and literally have them jump out of your screen and create the most realistic, accurate action figure out there!

McFarlane Toys' Geralt of Rivia 12-inch figure will be available for pre-order in mid-Oct at Amazon.com and available at Best Buy, Walmart.com and specialty retailers worldwide in November 2020. MSRP $39.99.

Developed by CD PROJEKT RED and winner of over 250 Game of the Year awards, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a story-driven, open-world RPG set in a visually stunning dark fantasy universe full of meaningful choices and impactful consequences. As one of the few remaining professional monster slayers for hire known as ‘witchers,’ chart your own path to adventure in sprawling, monster-infested lands of the Continent. Discover unexplored landmarks and abandoned ruins, meet vivid characters with their own goals and motivations, and take on multi-layered quests as you strive to find the Child of Prophecy whose power might just be the key to saving the entire realm — or destroying it.

Fans will start to see additional new The Witcher action figures from McFarlane Toys rolling out on retailer shelves in 2021.

He looks awesome. I still haven't played any of the Witcher games, but they are definitely in my wishlist. I like the character designs, so I may get one or two of these, specially if they release some more articulated ones.

I'd be interested, but first I would like to know if this line would go beyond this first wave.

This! Too many times I have been disappointed in lines based on properties that I enjoy where they don't go beyond the first 2 figures.

An image has surfaced online via TheFwoosh that gives us our first look at the McFarlane Toys The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 7" Gold Label Collection Geralt of Rivia figure.

Back in June we saw a listing that indicating one of the 7" figures for this property would be released as a Walmart exclusive. Just the other day we saw McFarlane Toys announce the McFarlane Gold Label Collection Series starting with the Todd McFarlane Designed Batman figure which was said to be a Walmart exclusive.

Putting 2 and 2 together, it would appear all the Gold Label Collection Series figures will be released as Walmart exclusives. That means there should also be a regular 7" version of Geralt of Rivia put out as a general release. That would also be in keeping with the listings we saw for The Witcher property back in June. The general release will likely have different paint applications and possibly less accessories.

This looks amazing and I want it but why another Walmart exclusive? Only scalpers like exclusives. I hope we'll at least get 5 or 6 other figures to go with him. I'd love to get some of the monsters and boss characters from the game as well like the swamp witches but I doubt that'll happen.

Exclusive to Walmart, paint variant from the regular release, possibly some additional accessories and packaging with a gold foil label on it best I can tell.

UPDATE: McFarlane Toys has confirmed that the 7" Gold Label figure will be a Walmart exclusive released in January 2021.
